Far from the center, the house wasn't bad at all. There was a cooler with hot and cold water, but no way to fry or cook food. We saw tuna fish, raw eggs, and some vegetables, but there wasn't much food—everything was spicy, and the buns were spicy and sweet, filled with meat. Also, for some reason, the Philippines doesn't have peeled and sliced fruit like in Thailand. It's a fruit-heavy country, and tourists don't always have the opportunity to wash and peel fruit. So, you just walk around and eat fruit, and the locals could make a little money doing it. I rarely make fruit drinks, and coconuts aren't sold or cut everywhere. The locals could make money from this, but it's a shame you can't eat as much fruit as you want. Fruit is very expensive, and all food is expensive in general, like in Russia, and sometimes even more so.

Suitable for divers, you can dive on the island of Tin. Peter and TaTa took a swim and introduced the dive site. You can see colorful corals, cliffs, and two turtles! Very happy! The waiter's service is also very good, very caring, and the food is very local! The swimming pool is still heated and swimming at night is not cold at all. Occasional power outages with emergency lights. The hotel offers motorbike rental, help to call tutu, very close to the pier of Tin Island, tutu over 250p from another pier! But be sure to change the money at the dock, only cash is accepted here!

I recommend staying in this hotel when you come to Siquijor. The scenery is very good and it is very photogenic. We stayed there for three consecutive days. Of course, you have to endure some inconveniences in this hotel. It is very far from the lively streets and you can't walk there. It is not convenient to call a taxi. There are no restaurants around. The hotel's own restaurant is OK, but there are fewer choices for dinner and the price is a bit expensive. If you want something more lively, you can choose Coco. If you like quiet, you can choose this one. It feels good to watch the sunset in the swimming pool.

A very nice place to stay at! Super friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great menu with a wide variety and very tasty food. A bit remote as it is the most southern resort on Siquijor, and not all tricycle drivers want to drive there, but we still managed and we enjoyed every minute of our 10 day stay. If the resort had had a soft sandy beach, it would have been perfect, but the snorkelling and the beautiful pool made up for it 100%. Wow! A great experience overall!

We're stayed only 24h, because Covid striked just then and country started to go lockdown. We had about 48h to leave country, but the owner canceled our bookings with a smile on his face and welcomed back when it was possible again. Such an excellent place/owner/staff. They even served bf to our rooms in the morning before we left to the ferry. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent location next to beach. This resort is far away from the main area and there’s nothing really around the resort. In itself that is something I’d prefer, but the lack of access to things outside is something they seem to take advantage of. Beautiful location with problems occurring whenever you need help from staff members. Never in my life have I been at a hotel which tried to charge me for water, the thing we need to survive as humans. We asked the hotel if they could order us a tuktuk fto get to dinner as I wanted to drink so I didn’t want to take our scooter. They said no problem. 2.5 hours later we are assured for the 5th time, “just another 15 minutes”. By the time we are it was 10 pm but the hotel offered no apology, the manager of the hotel just told us that this is Philippine culture, which we needed to understand. How patronising. We weren’t told on check in you need to actually ask for your room to be cleaned and when I did ask my towels were taken away and no replacements were given. It seems there is a lack of any communication between the staff. On the positives the sunset is amazing and the food there is good too. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The whole place is totally let down by bad management and a reluctance to give anything for free. Even the basics. A promising place, but they fall down badly on the basics and for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it

Our stay at Jelly Sea Resort was absolutely perfect! The staff were incredibly caring and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and ideal for our family of three, especially since we were traveling with a kid. The beachfront location was stunning, offering breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset. The room exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness and amenities, including air conditioning, a mini-fridge, water heater, bidet, hair dryer, and complete bath essentials. The resort offered a lot of water activities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The booking included free use of a bamboo raft, kayaking, snorkeling, and access to three cliff-diving spots for the adventurous. We also loved the freediving opportunities and appreciated the swimming peripherals provided, like goggles, life jackets, and aqua shoes. These thoughtful inclusions made exploring the beautiful waters so much fun and hassle-free. The food was excellent! Portions were generous and perfect for sharing. Plus, the free breakfast was a great way to start our days. The resort also provided fast and reliable WiFi, which was a big plus. The only minor downside was the lack of nearby stores for snacks, as the resort mainly serves meals. I strongly suggest picking up some snacks before checking in. That said, the staff went above and beyond—special thanks to Kuya Wing for helping me get what I needed from outside, which was a lifesaver since I was traveling with a kid! Overall, I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Jelly Sea Resort is truly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, activity-packed, and family-friendly getaway.

The best apartment of our entire trip! The rooms are beautifully decorated, decorated with paintings and furnished with meticulous attention to detail. It's immediately obvious that this place has been put to good use. The room has everything you need, even a first aid kit. You can always get chilled or boiling water for tea or coffee in the courtyard. Cleaning was done daily, and thoroughly. The only drawback was that the room was very humid, and clothes never dried, even though the air conditioning was supposed to dehumidify the air.

My favorite hotel in Siquijor! The staff's attitude is so much better than Cocogrove, and the environment is lovely. It's just fantastic! I kept extending my stay. I even met another guest who was also extending their stay for a week because of this hotel. I actually extended my time in Siquijor and stayed here for four or five nights. Renting a motorbike means a lot of riding and getting sun-tanned, but it's worth it for the slow pace. That other guest hired a car with a driver every day, and apparently it wasn't very expensive – they got a discounted rate. I forget the exact price, but I remember it was much cheaper than the normal rate for a full day's private hire.

The rooms are a bit old, but still well-maintained. The white sand beach is incredibly beautiful, and having breakfast on the beach is a true delight. If you don't mind a hotel with some signs of age, I'd definitely recommend it. However, on the first day, there was no hot water for the shower, and on the second day, there was no cold water at all. So I had to hold the showerhead up high and let the water drip down, then slowly splash it on myself to avoid getting scalded. The water pressure was extremely low, like a tiny trickle, so it took ages to shower and I never really felt clean.

This was my second time visiting Siquijor. I'd hoped to avoid the crowds, but it was surprisingly busy with both Western tourists and locals. All the good guesthouses were fully booked, so I ended up at Rainbow. The room photos didn't match reality at all. I was assigned a ground-floor room, and as soon as I opened the door, there was a strong musty smell. The overall hygiene was pretty bad; the sheets weren't clean. After two nights, my wrists and thighs broke out in an allergic rash with many small blisters. The bathroom was damp and had wooden furniture, and the toilet seat was a small, ill-fitting one. The toilet paper was so thin it was transparent, and there was hardly any furniture in the room to place belongings. With such a large room and garden area, I don't understand why they couldn't design it better. The food at the guesthouse itself was reasonably priced, but it was too salty and poorly prepared. There were some basic gym facilities outside, good for a quick squat with a couple of weights. The only upside was its proximity to the pier. Due to rising diesel prices, taxis and private charters are generally more expensive now, so remember to haggle. The night sky was beautiful though; I truly witnessed what 'a sky full of stars' means. The two waterfalls in the pictures are worth a visit; they used to be free, but now with more visitors, you have to pay for entry.

HHelenThis was my second time visiting Siquijor.
