Exposed brick from the late 1800’s, high ceilings and all the comforts you’ll need to enjoy South Haven. This is The Nests 2 nd season as a rental, so we allowing a minimum of 3 night stays, but we know you’ll want to stay longer with all there is to do in and around South Haven. A great spot for remote workers or beach goers, you’ll love being right in the center of town. 19 steps to upstairs condo, no elevator. New in June 2026- reserved parking for Nest Renters across street from Condo in private lot. Also Free city parking behind building. There is a business under the condo that is open 10-6 each day. We expect respectful noise levels during those hours. Very close to beach, shopping, winery's , brewery’s, blueberries farms and restaurants. Our second floor condo is located in the perfect spot to enjoy everything downtown has to offer from the many diverse restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream and coffee shops to the numerous shops and boutiques offering jewelry, clothing, art and souvenirs. You're right across the street from the city marina where you'll see boats for as far as the eyes can see. If you want to enjoy the beach, grab a couple of our beach chairs from the condo and in about 5 minutes, you'll be sitting in the sands of South Beach with the perfect view of the lighthouse and beautiful Lake Michigan.When you return to the condo to settle in, you won't have to settle for anything. Our place has everything you need to feel right at home. Our kitchen is furnished with whatever you'll need to do some serious cooking, make some light snacks or a full breakfast. The bathroom is fully stocked so if you forgot something, we've got you covered. The washer and dryer are in the bathroom so if you need to do a quick load of laundry, no problem. The condo has WiFi in case you need to do a little work while on vacation or if you want to stream your favorite movies on Netfilx or Prime Video. The living room and dining room are set up for comfort and convenience allowing up to 4 people to enjoy their own space while all being together. On those rare occasions when Mother Nature decides to add some water to the lake, if you don't want to watch TV, we have a cabinet filled with cards, games and puzzles to keep you entertained. If you're in the mood for music, use your Blutooth smartphone to connect to our sound bar for your listening pleasure.With so much to do and see in South Haven, at some point, we all need some sleep. The loft bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with cell phone charging pads on both night stands, plenty of closet and dresser space, a sitting chair with foot stool and a ceiling mounted TV for the best way to watch a movie from bed. Great location and perfect for families; Kids Corner Park is straight down our street just 2.5 blocks away and 3.5 blocks to the public access beach. Downtown shopping and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away via tree-lined streets with sidewalks. We have central air conditioning and ceiling fans in both main level bedrooms.Plenty of seating inside and out. Nature preserves, golf courses, wineries, orchards all just a short drive away. Visit Saugatuck, Holland, St. Joseph, and other charming towns nearby. Floor Plan Overview:This is a two-story home, furnished for a comfortable Lake Michigan getaway. The first floor consists of an open dining room, living room with convertible sleeping, a kitchen, cozy secondary sitting room, one full bathroom, two bedrooms, and closet storage. First floor bedroom has room for a portable crib if desired. In the kitchen, we provide a coffee maker, blender, and toaster in addition to the electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, spices, and utensils. Paper towels, dish soap, and garbage bags are replenished weekly. The second floor has a single open bedroom with private full bathroom.The basement is equipped with laundry facilities for guest use, and the garage is available for gear storage as needed. I really wish there was a hot tub to relax. I was disappointed in the breakfast, wish they had waffles, the orange juice was basically water. The biggest complaint was our room while it was clean and spacious. It was right by the door and you could hear every person come in and out ALLLL night. It was extremely loud and made it almost impossible to sleep. Then right outside of our room was a leak and the entire 3 days we were there it wasn’t fixed. Just had a bucket there to catch the leak. We ended up checking out a night early.

But my visit was with my lifelong best girlfriend from childhood, and Yelton Manor was STILL perfect. Small cozy nooks with comfortable chairs at every turn on every floor of two huge houses provided us secluded conversation corners with garden and lake views. The porches and bi-level patio are a wrapped in dune grasses and fragrant flowers. We watched chick flick DVDs with warm popcorn and chilled drinks. We slept late and drank the inn’s delicious coffee until noon, walked to town and shopped, sunned at the sandy beach across the street and had take-out dinner on the huge flagstone patio. COVID rules were strict inside but the large outdoor spaces and thoughtful distancing of social areas made for plenty of mask-free time. The inn is impeccably clean and we felt safe despite the pandemic. Elaine and Robert were mostly contact-free hosts because of COVID (expect to check yourself in and out, it was easy) but everything we needed was a text away and instantly attended to. A phone Ap Guest Book connected us with everything we needed to know about the hotel and the town and instant messaging to the Innkeepers if needed. Breakfast was healthy and delicious and served all morning, much appreciated. We ordered room service and really treated ourselves. Everything you hear about the triple chocolate brownies is true, they are addicting. Also grateful that the hotel is “all-adults”, so quiet and relaxing. Rates are a true value for location, luxury and service provided.

I really wish there was a hot tub to relax. I was disappointed in the breakfast, wish they had waffles, the orange juice was basically water. The biggest complaint was our room while it was clean and spacious. It was right by the door and you could hear every person come in and out ALLLL night. It was extremely loud and made it almost impossible to sleep. Then right outside of our room was a leak and the entire 3 days we were there it wasn’t fixed. Just had a bucket there to catch the leak. We ended up checking out a night early.

Yelton Manor Bed and Breakfast

But my visit was with my lifelong best girlfriend from childhood, and Yelton Manor was STILL perfect. Small cozy nooks with comfortable chairs at every turn on every floor of two huge houses provided us secluded conversation corners with garden and lake views. The porches and bi-level patio are a wrapped in dune grasses and fragrant flowers. We watched chick flick DVDs with warm popcorn and chilled drinks. We slept late and drank the inn’s delicious coffee until noon, walked to town and shopped, sunned at the sandy beach across the street and had take-out dinner on the huge flagstone patio. COVID rules were strict inside but the large outdoor spaces and thoughtful distancing of social areas made for plenty of mask-free time. The inn is impeccably clean and we felt safe despite the pandemic. Elaine and Robert were mostly contact-free hosts because of COVID (expect to check yourself in and out, it was easy) but everything we needed was a text away and instantly attended to. A phone Ap Guest Book connected us with everything we needed to know about the hotel and the town and instant messaging to the Innkeepers if needed. Breakfast was healthy and delicious and served all morning, much appreciated. We ordered room service and really treated ourselves. Everything you hear about the triple chocolate brownies is true, they are addicting. Also grateful that the hotel is “all-adults”, so quiet and relaxing. Rates are a true value for location, luxury and service provided.
