The Waldorf Astoria brand is top-notch, offering top-notch island ambiance, hotel facilities, and ambiance. We tried several restaurants on the island, and the Japanese restaurant was the most impressive. The other Arabic and barbecue restaurants were average, though the breakfast was more extensive. Finally, I'd like to mention the service. We were assigned three butlers for our five-day, four-night stay. The first butler suddenly called in for leave after meeting us that day. The second butler arrived the next day and was a bit slow to respond... The third butler took over on the third day, and their service was quite responsive. Overall, this butler slightly detracted from my overall experience. Other aspects, such as the weather (it rained all day on one of the four days, but cleared up the rest of the time, which was quite good for July), and the island's entertainment options were all excellent, though the prices were quite high, depending on your budget. This second trip to the Maldives, ten years later, was truly worthwhile.

Ozen Reserve Bolifushi was the best vacation resort I’ve been to. The staff, the food, the rooms were all fantastic. Yara at the spa gets a special shoutout! She gave one of the best massages. We paid for the teppanyaki experience. Alok, the chef, was outstanding. Our butler, Asfar, was very accommodating! The best restaurants were Saffron and Soyi for dinner, and Sangu for lunch. Mostly we just relaxed on the beach watching all the birds and crabs or in our villa pool! The rooms were spacious and comfortable… It was what the doctor ordered.

Very satisfied with the all-inclusive island. The environment on the island is very good. Although there is some seaweed in the sea, the staff cleans it every day, which does not affect the holiday experience at all. No matter when you go to the public beach, there will be clean towels on the beach chairs. The standards of several restaurants are very good, and the taste is great, especially the Indian restaurant, which is the best curry I have ever eaten. Very beautiful! This island is relatively small, with few people and quiet environment. The service staff are very nice, the food is also very exquisite, there are snacks and fruits in the room, and there is enough drinking water. You can go swimming and snorkeling directly in the sea from the terrace behind the room, or you can pay extra to take a yacht to go snorkeling, which is nice~

The hotel is great. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Male by speedboat! The receptionist, ********* Xiao Yang, made all the arrangements. I give a big thumbs up to the little girl!

The old 5 star island, the equipment feels a bit old, the most unfortunate thing is that there is only one Chinese employee on the island or dive center, it is with my parents, they are not good English, they are both on the island Nothing to say. The service is just like the general, just a lot of professional smirk. At the end of the day, when the island was arranged in a mess, the housekeeper did not know when we left, and the night before, someone called to confirm the time of the island. After sitting on the speed boat, I waited for another half of the day, and a European who had a child was angry. Just... it’s gone. In addition, the fish you can see is a bit monotonous and a bit boring. Finally, at the airport, the hotel staff directly handed us over to the black tour guide? ? ?

The sea in Maldives is the most beautiful island I have ever visited. The sea water is clear and blue, with distinct colors. The island is warm and private. The service is attentive and thoughtful. The food on the island combines the styles of different countries, including Southeast Asia, East Asia, and European markets. This is a beautiful trip. I will come again if I have the chance in the future. I highly recommend the sunset stilt water house.

Facilities are pretty limited. Not many activities we can do. Staff were pretty nice and meals were above average. Snorkeling was adventurous as we could see many fishes, black tip reef shark and manta Ray included

My wife and I stayed here from June 8-13, 2026. It was our first time in the Maldives, and we were very happy with our vacation. We loved the island and the hotel. It offers great value for money. You can walk around the entire island in 15-20 minutes. It's very lush and green, and the reef is vibrant with lots of fish. We even saw turtles, sharks, and stingrays! You really feel a complete connection with nature here. The sand is white, perfect for walking barefoot. The food is delicious and varied, with meat, fish, and chicken available every day. The cocktails are tasty, mostly classics, and all served in glass. There was entertainment every day. I particularly want to commend the staff for their friendliness and helpfulness; they genuinely try to accommodate every need without being intrusive. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. The experience started smoothly even before check-in. We had arrived in Malé late the night before, and the Hard Rock team contacted and coordinated directly with the hotel we were staying at, making our transfer to the resort very easy and stress-free. All of the staff we met were friendly, polite, and welcoming. As an Accor Diamond member, I had originally considered staying at the Pullman or Sofitel, but after researching the different resorts, we felt that Hard Rock offered the experience that suited us best—and we were very happy with that decision. One of the biggest surprises was just how much there was to do. The resort offered many complimentary activities, entertainment, and shows. We first met one of the instructors, Pensi, during another dinner/show, and because she was so friendly and enthusiastic, we decided to join her hammock/silks class. It ended up being a lot of fun. She also performed in her own show the following day, which was amazing and became one of the highlights of our stay. My wife and I are not really into water sports, but we decided to try kayaking and were very glad we did. It gave us some beautiful views of the resort and surrounding water, as well as some great photos. Cycling between the connected islands was another simple activity that turned out to be surprisingly memorable and gave us some amazing photo opportunities along the way. Breakfast had a huge selection and everything we tried tasted great. We also ordered in-room dining, which was very easy through the resort's dedicated app. Getting around was simple as well. We could book a buggy through the app or use the bicycles that were available around the island. We stayed in a Platinum Overwater Pool Villa, and the room was clean, modern, spacious, and very comfortable. We could watch the sunrise from our private pool and also step directly from the villa into the ocean below. It was exactly the kind of Maldives experience we had imagined. We came expecting beautiful scenery, clear water, and amazing photos and videos, and Hard Rock certainly delivered all of that. What we did not expect was how much the activities, recreation, entertainment, and shows would add to the experience. They made the stay much more enjoyable and memorable than simply staying at a beautiful resort. We also appreciated seeing the resort manager attend Pensi's show and personally speak with guests. It gave us the impression that the management team genuinely makes an effort to engage with guests, listen to feedback, and make everyone’s stay as comfortable as possible. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives gave us everything we had hoped for from our Maldives trip, plus much more than we expected. We would be very happy to stay again.
