I felt kinda disappointed. Had a couple of issues with my room while I was there. The clogged drain was fixed fine. But they never did anything about the broken air conditioner unit. Very uncomfortable to sleep when the room was so hot. Even the guest service operator sounded doubtful that the maintenance team would get to it.
Breakfast was decent. The offerings were the same everyday. Good option if your room rate covers that.
For location it's also not as good as I hoped. This hotel seems on the map to be close to the Belfast ICC. However, its main entrance is on the complete opposite side of the building. You essentially walk entirely around the outside before reaching the ICC doors. If I return to Belfast I'll stay somewhere else.

Great overnight stay in Hilton Belfast - gorgeous and super clean hotel and staff were all incredibly helpful and approachable, nothing was too much for them. Good location, and taxi drop off at the front was handy. Stayed in a river view room and the view over Belfast was lovely.

Traveled there especially for a very exclusive event and also stayed overnight. Castle hotel with a view of the water. Art in the park. Pool and wellness. Arrival from Belfast city airport by train (towards Bangor). Only a few meters walk from the platform to the hotel.

The hotel is on the periphery of the city, picturesque, the castle is simple and full of British style, there are beautiful art sculptures outdoors, and the garden is beautiful!
The fly in the ointment is that the hotel's facilities are generally clean, the room service is very poor, the room is not cleaned up enough, the room turned down for two days and opened for one day, and the quilt was not washed!

The hotel itself was really nice. Unfortunately unbeknownst to me was the fact I'd booked an adjoining room. It did not make for a peaceful night's sleep.

This is my second stay at the Clayton Hotel, and overall, the experience was pleasant and the accommodations were comfortable. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the hotel offers good value for an overnight stay.
However, I observed that the reception staff could benefit from being more attentive and proactive in assisting guests. On several occasions, it seemed that guests were not immediately acknowledged, which can leave an impression of inattentiveness — particularly for international visitors.
My previous stay was three years ago, and I was hoping to see some improvement in this area. Consistent professionalism and warm hospitality at the front desk would significantly enhance the overall guest experience. I look forward to seeing positive changes on my next visit.

Great hotel and services, however could do with more amenities such as basic toiletries and slippers or bathrobe. Was surprised that it was not included in the deluxe room and was only available for a more expensive room which makes no sense because it’s suppose to be a 4 Star hotel. Other than that everything was great. Friendly staff, cleaned regularly and were super helpful. Had breakfast on the first day, it was okay, could be better with more variety.

Grand Central is in great location in heart of Belfast. Fantastic staff who are friendly and always on hand to help. At reception Matthew warmly welcomed us and we had a wonderful time Saturday afternoon lounging in the Observatory ,sipping delicious cocktails and enjoying the beautiful Belfast skyline.
Breakfast was lovely with 2 highlights for me ; chef made me perfect poached eggs upon request - thank you! Also variety of mango, mixed berry etc. smoothies were freshly made and served during breakfast; delicious! Would thoroughly recommend for a short city break and Belfast too was buzzing! Will be back again December!

The hotel is located in the city center, very new, and the rooms are simple. It is equivalent to a high-end express hotel in China. The hotel service is good. We parked the car at the door and the driver helped us pay the fee on the roadside.

The only advantage of the hotel is that it is in a good location and convenient for travel. I am not satisfied with the room. It uses some high-tech technologies, such as the toilet door automatically closes and opens when it is touched, but we feel that it is noisy at night, so we specifically asked the front desk staff to help us cancel this function. Another thing that made our stay experience bad was that we were arranged in a room in the basement, and it felt like there were almost no other guests down there. I don't know why we were treated very specially. The room is very small, and there is not even enough space to put luggage. I don't recommend this hotel.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Belfast city center. Friendly staff, clean room with an excellent view. Currently one of the better places to stay at in the area. Only issue was not being able to park in the hotel which was booked up, but they do offer a discount for a parking space across the street. Will stay here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay at Holiday Inn Belfast
I recently spent three nights at Holiday Inn Belfast with a friend, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, which made us feel comfortable immediately after arriving. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and throughout our stay the team maintained a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our room was very clean, spacious, and well maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, and the overall environment was quiet and perfect for rest after a long day exploring Belfast.
The location of the hotel is also excellent, making it easy to access many attractions, restaurants, and transport options around the city.
We also enjoyed the breakfast and general hotel facilities, which added to the overall quality of the stay.
Overall, it was a memorable and pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Belfast to anyone visiting the city. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

My second stay here since December 2025 & would now be my go to hotel. Location is perfect for a nice walk into into the city centre, not too far but also very convenient for the airport bus from/to Grand Central Station.
Stayed in a twin this time with my young adults son, great open plan reception/bar/coffee/food area. Was having for him as he was able to use the area late at night for Uni work. Staff even asked if he was OK offering a hot beverage.
Staff are extremely helpful & friendly, have received a warm welcome here both times now & wouldn't hesitate to return. Became a member of IHG so was also able to get a late check out time of 2pm, greatly appreciated 👏
