Excellent location near Edinburgh Airport but feels in the countryside and has some excellent viewpoints. Food in Brasserie was excellent with  delicious fresh own- grown herbs. Rooms were modernised,  comfortable and clean .Beautiful pool and spa facilities.

I had a very pleasant stay at Dakonta Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and impressively quiet, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. The hotel’s restaurant was also a highlight — the food was delicious and well-prepared, offering a great dining experience without needing to leave the premises. Overall, I would definitely recommend Dakonta Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay plenty around to do and great location with a sea and view of the forth rail bridge

The staff are very welcoming.  In fact everyone that passed was very friend. The staff made up for the hotel. Our room and bathroom was large but very tiered.  It definitely need s makeover .sorry for telling the truth it needs money spent on it and it would be a great place to come to. We look forward with interest if it gets a,injection of money we will be back.

Location. Location. Location. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Edinburgh Airport. No need to worry about trams, taxis or Ubers.  If you want to go into Edinburgh, there is a tram that goes from the airport to the train station.  My room was clean and bright. The bathroom had all the amenities and great towels. Check in/out was quick and easy.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. Couldnt get proper sleep creeking roof, could hear guy sleeping above snoring and creecking noises when ever he moved. Manager needs to sleep in room 29 have someone sleep in the above room to experience this. Bad sound proofing even for a 2star hotel. Dont expect this from a 4star claiming hotel. Stained carpets as well, room needs redecoration its tired

The trip was great, comfortable beds and a terrific shower. The breakfast was tasty and staff friendly. I’d really recommend the breakfast as it’s a buffet style for tea, coffees and pastries. I’d stay there again the next time I’m in town!
