Since the transportation on Awaji Island is very inconvenient, and I am not driving by myself, the location of the hotel is also difficult to get to. However, the hotel staff were very enthusiastic to help me solve the problem. They provided a shuttle service so that I could put down my luggage before checking in. You are free to go to other parts of the island first. The view from the hotel room is also first-rate. You can look at the sea and Akashi Bridge, and you can also see the beautiful sunrise. If you are traveling by car, it is highly recommended.

Very cool room, you can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the room! Unfortunately, the weather was not good enough when we went and the visibility was so-so... It was also very suitable for riding, although we did not ride due to the weather (( The food is also delicious, and there is also a pick-up and drop-off service. Overall, it is very good. I will stay here again in the future.

The hotel is situated within the Awaji Island Park theme park. Guests need to first park their car at Parking Lot F, then call the hotel to arrange a shuttle pick-up. If your mobile phone only has data and no local calling minutes in Japan, you can use the hotel's direct phone located at the park entrance to contact them. A dedicated vehicle quickly arrived at the park entrance to pick us up, and it was less than a 5-minute drive to reach the hotel premises. Upon arrival, we checked in at a charming little cabin and were offered a dessert and a welcome drink. Even though I wasn't staying in a themed room, the cabin was incredibly spacious and comfortable, featuring a large balcony. The room was stocked with fresh fruit and snacks, and the minibar drinks were complimentary. Even though it was late May, the evening temperatures were quite low. The hotel thoughtfully provided coats and blankets. Unfortunately, it's a shame it was too cloudy to see the stars. What truly stood out was the exceptional attentiveness and friendliness of all the staff members – they were impeccable. No wonder their Google ratings are so high! For dinner, we enjoyed a Western-Japanese fusion Sabusabu meal. Each pair of diners received a platter of purple sea urchin, which was hands down the most delicious sea urchin I've ever tasted. If I ever have the chance to visit Awaji Island again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

It was a great experience to play in the Second Dimension Forest on Awaji Island during the day and stay there at night. I highly recommend it! The hotel provides free shuttle buses and luggage storage. You can pick up the hotel from various locations in the Second Dimension Forest. If you have just arrived at the Second Dimension Forest, you can also directly use the information phone to call the hotel and wait indoors. It is very convenient. Awaji Island dinner and breakfast are provided upon check-in. The ingredients are fresh, delicious and abundant. I happened to meet a Chinese-speaking service staff who was very attentive and enthusiastic in introducing the food, making the meal time very pleasant and unforgettable! The room is really spacious, and the floor is heated, which is really considerate. You won't feel cold after taking a bath, it's very warm. There is no light pollution at night, and the starry sky is very beautiful. I will want to stay here again!

We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel! This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again. The architecture and the hotel design is very cool, 50's kind of vibe, but it's new of course. The hotel has a club lounge where we could unwind after the drive with complimentary snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and all was free and unlimited. The room was super spacious and designed nicely, with a huge hot tube jacuzzi, and since we took the ocean view room, the view overlooking the ocean and bridge was just breath-taking 👌 The breakfast was just right, and they totally accommodated my meal requests and accomplished to have a very good result... 5 stars here and I would totally want to come back!
- G-AV
The view of the hotel is very beautiful and the room is large and comfortable. The decoration in the room is very design, and the electrical appliances are all up-to-date. The service was very good and the rest was very good. We chose breakfast in the room and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset here. We were very happy. There are also buffet snack bars on the 3rd floor. Don't miss ~ If the weather is good, you must spread it around the hotel or ride a bicycle. It's too comfortable. 😌 I have lived in several hotels nearby. This is definitely the most cost-effective + comfortable!

We had a pleasant stay at Grand Nikko Awaji Hotel which is located at Awaji Yumebutai (淡路夢舞台). It takes less than 50 minutes from Kobe Sannomiya to Awaji Yumebutai by bus. The hotel room is clean and spacious, and all rooms face the sea. The hotel is part of Awaji Yumebutai complex with direct access to conference centre and various attractions such as Hyakudan-en Garden (百段苑) and Akashi Kaikyo Park (明石海峡公園).

It’s a nice stay here as the hotel room is very spacious and clean. Highly recommend to opt for their breakfast buffets. There are wide variety of choices especially some Awaji specialties and taste good. Will return to this hotel again in the future if visiting Awaji.

There is a distance from Akashi Station. Watch Google navigation and positioning to walk for 12 minutes. Fortunately, it is useless to walk. Akashi Station takes a taxi to the hotel for about 8 minutes (but the next day, the taxi leaves the hotel to the station for 5 minutes). Make an appointment for one berth and one meal (breakfast the next day) for two people. The hotel looks historic, the rooms are renovated, the hotel has an elevator, don't be afraid of heavy luggage, but the hotel staff will help with luggage when you check in. The Japanese-style room space is very spacious for two people. There is a table and chair area by the window. It is very pleasant to have a small drink and chat in the hot spring at night. Some traditional or old hot spring hotels are now non-smoking, but there will be some smoke, but this hotel has no smoke, for people who hate the smell of smoke is a good choice. The breakfast tastes light and the food is not particularly prominent, but it is not bad. In terms of hot springs, the room has a bathtub to take a bath, and it can also go to the public male and female soup baths. There are three warm and indoor pools and open-air hot spring baths. The space is not large, but I only have one person who went there that night and the next morning. It is an exclusive enjoyment of the whole hot spring. The hot spring is very comfortable and there is no taste. I like it very much. However, iron ingredients should not be soaked for too long, otherwise the skin will be astringent and dry. The staff who provided the service at the time of check-in was very enthusiastic and kind, but the attitude of the staff at check-out was obviously not so kind, but I was very grateful to him for helping to call a taxi. (In addition, the breakfast service staff is very kind and enthusiastic, making people feel full of vitality in the morning is really great). The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the Dagu Coast to see the sea view and the Akashi Bridge. It is very good to take a walk after breakfast!

I traveled with my mother and stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. It is a ryokan with a tatami room and hot springs. Less than 20 minutes walk from Akashi Station, 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway and 3 minutes walk to Akashi Coastal Park. In particular, there are many elderly staff, but they were so kind and polite that I was really happy for three days. Because there are many Japanese local people, it is difficult to communicate in other languages, but the staff use the translator to help me hard, so there is no problem at all. The bath also has an open-air bath, so it was still cold in mid-March, so it was perfect for enjoying the open-air bath. I only took a bath four times in three days. There was also a pretty Yukata, so it was great to have a Japanese travel atmosphere. I like to eat in the ryokan, so I applied for breakfast, but it was a little disappointing that it was not Kaiseki but Bento. The next evening, I was able to eat Kaiseki at an additional fee of 13900 yen per person. I want to visit again if I visit Akashi next time 💙

I was disappointed because the meal I was looking forward to was served cold, even though it was supposed to be hot. The portion sizes weren't very large, which is good for elderly people or those with small appetites. The Dan Dan noodles, served from 9 PM, were only about half a serving, but they were delicious. Although it was an ocean view room, the sea wasn't right in front, but the view was nice because it was on a hill. There was a humidifier in the room, which I turned on before going to bed, but the water level indicator light was blinking in the morning. The toilet in the room had a small sink for washing hands and paper towels were provided, but I don't know why there was no trash can. I had to go outside the toilet and use the trash can in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The view from the public bath was also nice, but when I got out of the bath around 4:30 PM and tried to borrow the provided lotion and moisturizer, they were empty... They were properly replenished when I got out of the open-air bath in the morning.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's near the sea with beautiful scenery. The hotel service is also very good, with rich and delicious breakfasts and dinners. There's even free ramen in the evening. The hot spring facilities and water quality are excellent, and the rooms are large and comfortable.
