Dennis Pond is walking distance from our home, 0.4 miles, which has a small beach and is very convent. The closest Bay Side beach is just down the street, around 2 miles, called Grey's beach, home to the historic Bass Hole Boardwalk.
The home is in close proximity to Route 6A that connects Yarmouth Port to other towns such as our neighbors, Hyannis and Chatham. The location is very easy and very accessible.

The check-in process was very easy, it honestly was no contact which was really nice and I preferred. My family got up and out fairly early and wanted a nice big sitdown breakfast so I didn’t get to see what their breakfast was like. The beds were kind of firm and we didn’t love that, but overall the stay was great and we would absolutely stay there again.

Hotel was great! Put on a great breakfast, and snack for kids at 8pm! Great staff- kind and helpful! Would stay again and plan too next year!

The hotel is very old and clearly hasn't been modernized in a long time. The bathroom (see picture) was basic but functional. The large refrigerator (see picture) was a plus.
Otherwise, it felt more like a motel than a resort.
Unfortunately, the disposable cutlery typical of American breakfasts was present. The breakfast was simple and, unfortunately, nothing special.

It is a hotel that I would like to use next time. I think that the interior and making of the room were reasonably modern and not bad. Recommended for sightseeing.

Great location at mid cape cod.
Great price with breakfast, indoor pool, and hot tub.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Sunbird Resort and Hotel. I’m not too familiar with their other location which is adjacent to the main hotel called Sunbird Annex. The continental breakfast was nice, clean, and things were replenished for the most part. Fruits, different juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, and coffee. Although the scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages seem to all come from a bag that was microwaved, but what more can you ask for? It was tasty, clean, and enough to feed everyone.
I read from other reviews that a s’mores kit was available for kids but was told they only provide the lighter and propane. Not a big issue, but definitely a plus if it was available as advertised. Shuttle buses and night time movies were nowhere to be seen, but I did not ask about those so I can not really speak to that.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The staff was responsive. The room was cleaned daily and no issues with cleanliness. The room was definitely not a Hilton, bathroom could use an update. Again, for the most part it met my needs and my little kid had a blast.

Guest UserThe receptionist was very helpful and the car park was great as there was ample parking - which meant you can often park your car right up to your door. One thing I’m upset about is that this was advertised as having breakfast included… but I was told on check in that hasn’t been the case since the pandemic. I did book this as it had advertised breakfast as I’ve been in Hyannis unexpectedly… so this was a shame that wasn’t correct
