The hotel is connected to Terminal 21, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Each room has a small balcony, which is convenient if you want to sneak a cigarette. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. The hotel is also close to Chinatown, so you can easily satisfy your craving for hometown food. The hotel's breakfast is just okay, and the pool is nothing special. Overall, it's decent, with mid-to-high value for money.

I’ve stayed at several Ascott properties across different brands—Lyf, Oakwood, and Somerset—and they’ve consistently delivered great experiences. Somerset Pattaya was no exception and definitely lived up to my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The room itself was spotless, well-designed, and thoughtfully arranged, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of the hotel is the rooftop pool. It’s easily one of the nicest I’ve seen in Pattaya—an infinity pool with stunning views, and it gets sunlight throughout the day, which makes it perfect for relaxing. For families, there’s also a second pool featuring a large pirate ship, which is a fantastic touch for kids. The location is another major plus. Central Mall is just across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for nightlife or entertainment, there are plenty of bars and venues just around the corner. Overall, Somerset Pattaya has become one of my favorite hotels in the city. It combines excellent service, great facilities, and a prime location. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Had a great stay here! The location is fantastic, just about 400m walk to Pattaya Beach and Central Festival, and most popular attractions are within walking distance. The overall facilities are comprehensive and very practical. The room even has a washing machine, which is incredibly convenient whether you're staying for a short or long period – you can wash clothes anytime, saving a lot of hassle. The kitchenette comes with an induction hob, fridge, and basic cutlery, so you can easily whip up a simple meal in the morning. The public pool is excellent, clean, and spacious enough for a relaxing swim both during the day and in the evening. The courtyard area is tidy, and the security is top-notch, making it feel very safe and secure. Whether it's for convenience or leisure facilities, everything meets daily needs, making it perfect for a holiday stay. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time.

Excellent value for money! It's a great option for business trips; there are always rooms available with plenty of choices. Check-in is convenient, and there are no restrictions on booking through various platforms. The room descriptions are also very clear.

Very big and comfortable.room, bed is not the softest one, big swimming pool but crowded, breakfast was good and huge variety as what we get in Thailand mostly Thai variants, hot beverages not that helpful specially.if you are tea drinker. Location is far from main attractions, close to Bus station to Bangkok. Good for the price

Pros: Just a 50-meter walk in a straight line to the beach, right next to the police station, and across from Central Festival Pattaya. There's a pool inside, and the front desk offers Chinese-speaking service. The staff are very enthusiastic and will even deliver things to your room door. They upgraded our room and even separate guests of different ethnicities onto different floors. Our floor was mostly Asians, and there were separate floors for Laotians, Chinese, Indians, and Caucasians, which made for a more comfortable stay. Cons: The room was a bit damp because it's by the sea, but it's negligible.

Almost didn't book after seeing other reviews, but decided to go for it. Was pleasantly surprised when I checked in! It's not nearly as old as some made it sound. The room was clean and tidy with big windows, overall pretty good. Just couldn't figure out how to use the air conditioning!

Before we arrived at the hotel we tried to call the hotel to confirm if they received my email about the late check in because our flight was at night and we were arriving at morning because we still need to travel from Bangkok to Pattaya. I called 3 times and what I got was phone dropped. The staff is a bit rude and always saying call at 9 am. When we arrived at the hotel a staff was sleeping at the couch and another one sleeping at the counter. When I said check in he doesn’t even check or ask about the booking and still telling me to come back at 9 am. I said I paid already and have my booking stay for 3 nights. He didn’t even bothered to check my booking before saying anything. We came as family, I know it’s different booking of room as it’s shown in the booking however they separated us in different hotel and did not even think that we are family that they might can make better arrangements but offered nothing. To cut that story on The other hand the hotel itself has simple rooms a bit old but it’s comfortable. The pool can accommodate a lot more and the location is nice. Just walking distance to many restaurants and other attractions. Jomtien beach and Walking streets is just 3 minutes away. The view from our room is nice and nice atmosphere. Very live location. I can recommend this hotel for its price and amenities and location, and I just hope they will improve the service quality for better experience.
