The rooms are convenient for a short night stay however the staff are reluctant to help and avoidant toward problems. The train line below is extremely loud and so is the service at the desk, along with the people coming to and from the hotel. Would not recommend for comfort or convenience as it's the worst night sleep we have gotten in a while. I would strongly advise to NOT BOOK THIT HOTEL

We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, and really nice. The room was really clean and they came to clean our room and sheets every day. We stayed for 4 days and this hotel is so convenient to taxi, the market. We would highly recommend this to a family who is busy sightseeing, shopping. Thank you to the staff of Hostal Boqueria

Stayed for 3 nights around. Location is great, Right in the center of La rambla street. Everything close by. Had a separate Bathroom, basic amenities. But was clean. Clean towels replaced daily, clean bed sheets. They have a small lift to go to the hotel, the entrance door is quite small and can be missed when finding the place. Overall I would say a good basic place to stay. And Yes, There were sometime sound/vibrations of the underground trains which you can feel along.

24/7 reception .. that helped us a lot, very good location .. in the middle of nightlife, next to the biggest market there, nice view .. Top I would say... very nice staff, clean hotel, air conditioning in rooms, good price, I'll be back

Simply spooky!! poor cleaning and care of the room not to mention the sheets stained several times! As if that wasn't enough, he goes under the subway until late at night feeling it perfectly!! Creaking and uncomfortable bed!! The only positive note is the very central location but not very crowded in the evening!!! Absolutely not recommended!!!!!

I stayed for three nights at this property. Despite the misleading name, the structure is practically a hotel: the rooms, although with dated furnishings, are spacious, all equipped with private bathroom and air conditioning. The level of cleanliness is fair. It is not possible to have breakfast at the property, but its very central location (which is fundamentally due to my assessment) allows you to have a lot of choice regarding alternative solutions. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful.

Hostel located in a great central location, right on the rambla. We stayed from 22nd to 25th and at the moment we arrived the impact was not optimal. We expected a newer hostel given the location but it is a bit older. At the moment we arrived, after check in, the room unfortunately did not correspond at all to the photos we saw on booking and we asked to change it also because there was not a blanket on the double bed but two single fleece. The next day they showed us another room at our request, otherwise we were forced to leave the structure and look for another one; better but not too much because unfortunately there was a bad smell. At that point I told the receptionist to leave the window open so it would change the air and we stayed in the same one. The structure itself needs to be REFURBISHED. Its strong point is its central location as it overlooks the rambla.
