Location is good, service is good. But the room is small, seems no place to put luggage.

Excellent price-quality ratio and ideal for a short trip in Bern.

Considering that it's in Switzerland and in front of the station, this is a cheap hotel with great value for money. The room was clean and the bathroom was easy to use. Nothing was broken or inconvenient. They also provided free water, which was very helpful.

The hotel staff are friendly and always smile, the room is neat and clean, the trash can in the room is large and very convenient, and the transportation is convenient. The hotel is only 6 minutes away from the train station.

In the case of high prices in Switzerland, this hotel is very cost-effective. It is only 5 minutes walk from the station and 6-7 minutes from the old town. The hotel breakfast is delicious! There are quite a lot of types, as well as freshly squeezed juices

Excellent hotel in Bern, close to the train station and close to the main atractions, lovely breakfast, comfortable beds, excellent bath products Rituals brand, nice staff ready to help you with everything that you need. This hotel is ideal for a long weekend or business trip, located as it is within easy walking distance from the station and close to a bus stop from where you can visit all you want to see of this lovely historic capital of Switzerland. The hotel bedrooms are on the small side and basically furnished, but they are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent - the best I have enjoyed in hotels across Switzerland - and the breakfast room is spacious. Above all the personnel were friendly and helpful - when the train network broke down on the day of my departure they allowed me to return to my room to rest!

This is a really quiet and clean hotel close to Bern station, only 5 minutes away. The staff are really helpful and the breakfast is really good. It is a short walk to the centre of Bern where you can see the beauty of this city.

Clean, efficient and functional, 5min walk west from station and a simple but quite reasonable breakfast with gluten free options. Reception was welcoming and staff respected my wishes to avoid room cleaning during my stay (which I think is wasteful and not needed). WiFi was fine and the bed comfortable though the pillows swallowed your head! Close to the University and city centre - I recommend Tibits vegetarian buffet.

This hotel located in the heart of the city of Bern, walking distance from the main station. And has the best connections of public transport. The hotel pretty much outdated regarding infrastructure and design, but it’s clean and sufficient to stay a night or two. Be aware in mind this hotel is not a holiday resort. So at least lower the expectations. The staff are friendly, especially the breakfast staff. She was very catering and humble. She asked us if we were going to see each other again the next breakfast, but unfortunately we only stayed there for a night. So she bid us farewell. Thank you for the hospitality miss (I don’t remember her name).

Absolutely horrible service. When checking in we discovered the booking agency made a mistake and booked two rooms in two different Sorell Hotels in Bern. Luckily this was not a poblem at first, and for 50 CHF rebooking fee we could rebook the other room of Sorell Hotel Arabel to a room at Sorell Hotel Andor. When we were checking out however we got a different member of staff who suddenly backed out of the 50 CHF fee deal and wanted us to pay for the new room in full. They basically expected us to pay for two full rooms instead of one, increasing the costs to hundreds of CHF. They were claiming the other Sorell hotel was "independent" from this Sorell hotel (despite both being Sorell Hotels??). Only after a long time of discussion and explaining the staff went back to the original deal of 50 CHF rebooking costs. The room and breakfast are OK, The checkout staff however really put the sore in Sorell.

This is a sympathetic and simple hotel located in the middle of Bern, a short walk from the railway station, the university and the old town. My room was functional and clean. As is common in Europe, instead of a queen-sized bed, the bed had two single mattresses next to each other. Not that it really matters, but a queen bed would be more comfortable. Another minus during the heatwave was the lack of air conditioning, although this, too, is typical for Europe. There was a standalone cooling machine in the room, which was a definite help. The hotel has a nice lobby with a small terrace where you can enjoy a drink or a snack. The staff all were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good. I'd stay again.
