Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brighton South - US 23 Reviews

I got charged for 2 beds and to accommodate 4 people. But I got one bed and 2 keys. I also specifically selected this hotel and paid extra because it showed indoor pool available but it appeared to be closed. I never got any notification about changes even though I booked 2 months before the stay

The room was small for being a “suite” the microwave was small. The TV was in an odd place so you could not see it well from where the fold out couch was. The bathroom was not clean as there was something on the wall that should have been wiped down. The shower head they use has weird water settings and it was hard to wash off with. The vent in the bathroom didn’t work which made the room humid after a hot shower. When we got there there was horrible music playing and it was loud. It was still that way when getting back to our room so I waited till 11:00 pm to call and the front desk tells me it’s the Hotel’s speakers. I had to call two nights in a row about it. There was people fighting and running the halls. The rooms do not have much sound proofing as you could hear the people on the floor above walking around all the time. Only one elevator worked and you waited forever for it. This is right next to 23 so you hear all the traffic so beware of that. The one handle on the clothing cabinet was taped with painters tape because it was broke. We will not be back. Not a good experience.

Stay was great. Stayed for middle school Basketball championship tournaments… I wish the air conditioning worked in my room because my room was 77* the entire stay and it was way to hot to sleep (it is march yes but that room was wicked hot!!)

Only issue was my reservation wasn’t in the system. I paid a week ago. Luckily they managed to find a room during a basketball sold out tournament. All hotels in area were sold out. Normal stay with breakfast.

Very clean. Friendly staff. We had a room with two queens. The room was on the small side but clean.

I love this property but the complimentary breakfast has gone down hill. Over done food, stale muffins, over ripe bananas and coffee is more than bold! I love a dark roast but they have over done it of late. They are not always aware of running out of coffee.

The bathroom was not cleaned real good. When i walked in the first time there was a lot of hair on the floor. For a 2 night stay, housekeeping never came after the first night. Besides that everything else was perfect!

Not thrilled with the choice of eggs at breakfast but everything else was excellent.

Staff not well trained. Never got the room cleaned. Asked for the fixing of the curtains. It never happen. Will not come back

Very clean. Staff were very nice. Good hot breakfast every morning!

Didn’t pay attention and gave some one else the same room and they walked in on us.

Very impressed with the facility. Only complaint was the noise level. We were on the expressway side, the air conditioning was noisy, and we had an elephant stomping on the ceiling when trying to go to sleep.

Room items ,soap ,kleenex ice bucket liner not monitored for use in room.

Terrible service, no housekeeping between nights, no help from front desk
