My 2nd stay with my family of three within three months. Very friendly, hospitable & convenient.

The Cairns City Motel is a good place to stay, it is clean, centrally located and not expensive. It is close to the Aquarium, Markets and Waterfront Precinct. The only downside is that the reception area is only staffed for limited hours and only has 6 off-street parking spaces. I will definitely stay there again.

My family and I (3 adults) stayed here for 16 days/nights for the 2023 - 2024 festive period. The Manager (Craig) and the housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly to us during our stay. I/We will definitely book and stay at the motel in the next visit to Cairns, Australia. Thank you Craig & Cairns City Motel!

Great location for local dining and very easy check in and check out. Clean and simple room with space. Own toilet and shower for privacy.😊 Girl at reception was friendly and thorough.

Close enough to walk to eating spots on esplanade and CBD

The motel is a little outdated but was clean and comfortable for three singles. The beds were well spaced apart. It had the necessary equipment like: microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. All were very clean and neatly stacked in a cupboard. Happy to stay again. Staff were warm and friendly.

Room did not have appropriate chairs for the table/bench. Used external chairs that were not suitable. Limited car parking. Otherwise OK

Good place to stay at very resonable price

Barigan priced hotel. But still reasonable,

Customers smoking outside was annoying as the smoke came in windows. Needs smokers to be away from rooms.

Cheap and cheerful, handy to take-away and dine-ins. Bed, shower, microwave and fridge all good

The location of the property was great!

Location perfect. Very close to Sea and everything in walking distance, never the same road to or from town, differant route always.

Shower was similar to an outdoor leaking tap, no pressure at all, almost non functional at times. The shower cubicle itself in terrible state, broken tap covers, floor just left to decay. Air conditioner loud and full of dust. Very little amount of car parking, during week days you may find yourself having to park blocks away from motel. The bed was the only non-negative aspect of the room.
