Very Good

This hotel is in the perfect location in Sea Point, within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing was that the air-conditioner was noisy, I think it might need a service.

Great little hotel at Sea Point. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are lovely and the small kitchenette includes everything you need to self cater if you prefer which is a bonus. Includes combi microwave/grill/convection oven. The location is great close to shops and restaurants as well as the promenade. Walkable to the waterfront and Clifton, Camps Bay etc in the other direction. I hope to be back!

Lovely staff, comfy bed but not very clean. Counters were greasy, the floor was sticky, shower was dirty/mouldy. The phone by the bed didn’t work either… overall it was a good experience but could be better :)

I had a reservation made in April, also paid. The Atlantic Affair Boutique Hotel canceled our reservation on the day when we have to enter. We also found out it at night when we arrived at the hotel. They blamed Booking .com.I have been with Booking for ten years and had no problem. The fault lies with the hotel and its managers. For their own reasons that only they know they left us in the middle of the night without accomodation.I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our room smelled disgusting. It smelled like smoke. The management refused to place us in a different room, claiming that there were no other rooms available. The parking lot was completely empty, indicating they did have other room availability. We were forced to stay there because it was 30 minutes before covid curfew. Around 3 AM, people were partying two floors above us. They were incredibly loud and the way the Hotel is built only magnifies the sound to the entire building. That’s when I found out that our room phone didn’t even work. I got up to ask the lobby manager to go confront them. The door to the lobby was locked. And despite the Hotel Manager saying that he would be there all night, it appeared that no one was there or at least nobody would open the door. I had to go upstairs to confront the guests myself. In addition to all of this, the Wi-Fi is absolutely abysmal. Do not stay here. Literally stay at any of the other hundreds of places in town at a similar price.
