The chair was broken. The furniture was dusty and dirty, the stairs were under construction and unsafe, the toilet sit was broken , there was a plunger in the restroom, the towel holder was a hole in the wall, i requested to be moved to another room and they did, the second room was worst!

furniture was stained, paint in tub was coming up breakfast was down to remodeling, None of this was noted on the online booking so we would have known in advised

No breakfast even though advertised. Very noisy 2-5am. Air conditioning didn’t work properly so we couldn’t drown out noise

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, not an exaggeration. There was a massive cockroach in the room, the blinds did not close all the way. There is NO breakfast here, despite the fraudulent advertising on hotel sites. The pool appears closed due to "COVID" (come up with a more creative excuse, geniuses). The bathtub was atrocious, the finish half peeled off with fresh paint chips in the tub. The furntiture was trash. The layout is all indoor and weird, not like a motel. There's a reason this is one of the cheapest stays in the whole city, I highly suggest you spend the extra 20 and save on a stay in another town. It's not worth the savings, I promise. However, the bed is comfortable, the fridge is good and cold. The linens, tv, and microwave are decent. There are plenty of outlets. Between the filth, the fraudulent advertising, and the general run down nature of this place, I would never recommend. It is 1/5.

The Super 8 in Carlsbad has some good points but would benefit from a lot of maintenance and attention. The best thing I can say about it is that the beds were good. Wi-Fi service was so-so, not uncommon for hotels. The drapes wouldn't close all the way. The floor was visibly dirty and needed a good sweep or vacuum. I picked the hotel mostly for the price, but I think I would have preferred paying more for a better accommodation.

Room filthy erey other thing in room broken. Bathtub in horrible condition. Door safety lock broken off completely gone. Owner rude and unwilling to listen horrible experience . Non existent customer service. Will Jeter stay at Super 8 or Wyndhsm again.

worst Super 8 we have ever stayed in. Outdated and needs a total remodel. No breakfast at all even though the website states coffee and breakfast item. No elevator. Not clean, door chain lock broken, room has a funny smell. We do not recommend this hotel.

This place was awful very awful very very awful. They did not have breakfast like they said, but where is the ball? I have a service dog that went with me. They tried to charge me a $350 damage deposit fee and locked me out of my room I have Epilepsy and my wife has diabetes. We went and took my daughters down from the hotel room to the pool came back and the doors were locked. The manager would not let us in unless we pay the $350 damage deposit fee if we wanted to stay there another night or get our stuff , luckily the attendant at was in the night knew about the laws he let us get or stop and we just left. The hotel is still trying to charge us $650 for us staying one night there when obviously, they knew that I had a service dog because I checked him in when I arrived. This place is very awful. Please do your research first.

My reservation was influenced by the website stating a breakfast item would be supplied. However, check in staff reported that no breakfast items have been supplied since March 2020 which make the website advertising fraudulent. No resolution offered.

room and bathroom smelled horrible, like they were never cleaned, air conditioner was LOUD! making it hard to sleep, showered in cold water, because there was not hot water, no breakfast or pool as advertised. Help was very unfriendly, back door to get to room was broken, ice machine didn't work, property looked very un-manged! trash everywhere in parking lot. Overall, horrible place to stay at I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, not good for the price.

Not updated room, no breakfast and terrible coffee in room, good for a bed to sleep in and a shower. Definitely could have been cleaner!! The motel had a smell to.. and people drinking in the parking lot..

Check super 8's website for reviews. Our family had a very unpleasant stay. No breakfast is provided even though it states it on the website. Pool is unsanitary. Rooms didn't have toiletries. Multiple broken appliances. Non existent front desk help and motel security (back door is accessible to anyone at all times) there are way better options in the area. We will not be back. Housekeeper was understanding of the situation.

To begin with, there was no one at the front desk. They cannot be bothered to wait there for you or at least put a doorbell - just a “call this number” on a note. The staff was not technically rude, but they couldn’t be bothered to be sure. We were exhausted after a long drive, and since there are no rooms that are available that you can get to without stairs, we had to hoof all our luggage up a few stairs. They have a half flight down to the first floor and a half flight up for the second floor and no elevators. We got here a little late to use the pool (not a big deal but I just can’t rate it), but on a Sunday night there was loud partying the entire night in several rooms that kept my son and wife awake (I’m HoH). To top it all off, although it was included in the price and thus paid for, THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST! No concern over the fact either. I cannot recommend this place to anyone except perhaps a single person who’s so tired they just need a roof.

There was no breakfast as advertised on the internet. They said it was for the safety of their staff really then take it off the internet! Also, they did not meet ADA guidelines. There are no wheel ramps or elevators. They need to be investigated!!
