Very well situated hotel at the center of the city overlooking Gomti river. I was here recently while exploring the food scene in Lucknow. The rooms are good and spacious but needs attention on cleaning especially the wood panels and the washroom. I had a bad experience where I saw cockroaches from an opening in the bathroom which was not ideal but overall the staff is great and especially Jyoti at the front desk ensured they take care of all your needs.

We stayed at Clarks for 4 days and felt completely at home throughout our visit. The overall experience was excellent, with warm hospitality and attentive service from the entire Clarks family—thank you for making our stay so memorable. Clarks Avadh Hotel is a very good and beautiful hotel. The food, cleanliness, hospitality and the behaviour of the staff is very good. I chose Clarks Avadh to celebrate my 41st birthday, and I must admit, the experience did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful property where tradition blends seamlessly with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, while the staff are exceptionally cordial and attentive. What impressed me most was that they don’t just listen, but truly hear you out—with the genuine intention to resolve concerns or improve based on feedback. Special thanks to Mr. Aman, Mr. Prithvi, Ms Pratibha, Ms Mridul, Ms Puja and the entire front office and reservations team for their eye for detail and thoughtful adjustments that made my stay extra special. A heartfelt thank you for taking the effort to celebrate my birthday in such a warm and cozy way—I was truly touched. Being one of the oldest 5-star properties in Lucknow, Clarks Avadh continues to treat its guests with a sense of royalty. This is one of the most iconic hotels of Lucknow. I have been coming here since my childhood. Best place for a reasonable staycation in Lucknow . Good food and dining experience at Birendra Mahal. Do visit Falaknuma restaurant as well Must try Indian cuisine. Many shah, Mayank & Ayushi were very helpful.
