Spent a week here and really enjoyed it. The employees are really thoughtful and a pleasure to be around, all of them - at the door, in the lobby and definitely in the restaurant Castanyoles. We had a blast. The hotel is well located with lots of shops and coffee shops within walking distance. The historical nature of the building makes it really charming.

I booked the hotel for my sister and her son, it was my nephew’s birthday… the service, food, room, location and place was AWESOME. The staff new about my nephew’s 4year birthday and they brought a cake and they treat him as a king.

Designed of the hotel is very nice with boutique and cozy feel. Rooms are nicely appointed and bathroom stylish with all amenities. Great views of Bogota from the rooftop terrace. Probably a cultural difference, but breakfast was the weakest point of my stay. It appeared that the presentation was of the biggest importance to staff, rather than making sure the basics are covered. 70% of the spread was fresh fruit, rest. ham, cheese and toast bread. Hard to make anything tasty out of dry bread, ham and slice of cheese. No butter, cream cheese or anything similar to go with it. Absolutely no vegetables. Egg dishes possible to order. No tags to identify what is what, needed to ask staff who barely speak English. At the end I always made it work somehow but it was a struggle.

I’m not the type to leave reviews I just never get around to doing it but after my stay at the NH Bogota Boheme Royal I felt obligated to say something. Because of the staff at that hotel it made my vacation amazing. I don’t know what or who to complement first the location. the clean room. the great breakfast. the amazing staff. Thank you …. DDavidA very nice short-term apartment stay in a wonderful neighborhood of Bogota, with lots of amazing restaurants and cafes within walking distance. And if you like nightlife, there is much nearby in Chapinero. The kitchen comes with all the dishes and appliances you need if you wish to cook your own meals. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with great city views. The bathroom however was very small and cramped, there was a leak in the sink, and the shower overflows onto the bathroom floor if you take long showers. The accomodation and service are a bit expensive for what you get, compared to some others in the area.

GGuest UserThis is where you want to stay while in Bogotá . Three things stood out immediately: exceptional staff; outstanding breakfast; perfect location. I have stated in previous reviews that to me a building is just a building until you add the staff. How these employees act and relate to you as a guest make all the difference in the world. Edgar is the head waiter at breakfast and makes you feel like a long time friend as soon as you sit down. The front desk staff were very patient with me and my poor spanish yet they manage to help with each query I had. There are a number of fine restaurants in the coutyard and a huge shopping mall a short 10 minute walk away. Our overall experience was a resounding YES, STAY HERE. *****

I have seen quite a lot over the past decades, but this must be the worst hotel I have stayed at and this is primarily due to its management. But first: a simple hotel in very good location, but with thin walls and in an increasingly deteriorating state. Staff is generally very helpful and nice. Breakfast offering very basic! Main problem: management wants to recover Covid losses by charging damages to guests without proof that they have been caused by them. In our case, the cover glass for the desk had a small piece missing at the edge and we were told that we had caused this and had to pay for it! Obviously, we did not check the room for such minor damages when checking in (at the end who treats a hotel room like a used car and checks for scratches in the whole room?). When my wife talked to the responsible manager by phone (who refused to talk to us in person), he mentioned directly that the hotel had to recover Covid losses as reason for why we were charged for this 'damage'. When my wife insisted that we were not responsible for the 'damage', he blackmailed us, saying that the staff would then have to cover the cost of a new glass. Certainly the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world.

GGuest UserThe best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of food options and great taste as well. They also serve some rrally good Colombian food and soup. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
The room is ok but not impressive. The problem is that they do not provide consistent amenities. We have two rooms booked, with one room has sufficient shampoo and body wash supply as well as coffee machine, the other does not have either. When I called the front desk, they could not help as they did not know where to find the supplies.
Other than the above, the location is very good, conveneint and safe.

MMileKruminaI stayed at this hotel with my mom. It’s really close to the airport and a few blocks from “El campin stadium” transmilenio station. Also a shopping mall is a few meters away. I stayed on a Wednesday so there wasn’t much music but I can see how it can be quite loud during the weekends as there are many clubs near by. The breakfast was good and the room was okay. I must say that this hotel feels more like a motel or bed and breakfast as it is extremely basic. No decorations or any living areas that are inviting so it’s good just for a night or two but not for a holiday. There isn’t any elevator and no men that can carry your luggage so my mom carried my suitcase up to the third floor and the receptionist and I carried the big luggage up to the room. The water pressure is great and the hotel has hot water. Also there is satellite tv with options in English and Spanish. I have no idea if the hotel staff speaks English or not as I speak spanish. Overall it was good as the area is safe and close to most places I wanted to go like Monserrate.

WWin BkkThe check in was smooth despite arrival latte at night. The 2 receptionists on night duty were very kind and efficient. As a foreigner, I didn't need to pay the 19% VAT for accommodation. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and I took 577/927 bus from and to airport taking only 20 minutes.
The room was basic but clean. Hot shower was good. My room was furthest on the floor, so wifi was weak in room.
Overall, Hotel Los Balcones is at least very good as a transit hotel.

乐乐天的静Very nice park, perfect afternoon stroll. Park 93 is located in the city center, surrounded by various restaurants, cafes and bars. It is a great place to spend the weekend, some restaurants become clubs. You can also choose a variety of cafes, including Juan Valdes, Omagh and even two Starbucks for people to watch. But why go to Starbucks when you can enjoy your local coffee shop?
Gold Museum
寂寂寞生科The Gold Museum of the famous attractions of Bogota, Colombia. It houses about 30,000 fine gold artifacts made by Indians from the 20th century BC to the 16th century AD, displayed by different periods and regions. The gold museum exhibits are only a small part of the Indian artifacts that have been unearthed, and many of the precious artworks have been almost stolen by colonists in Spain and other countries in centuries. But from these preserved gold instruments, people can also see the wisdom and artistic level of the Colombian people. Tickets are 4,000 pesos/person, equivalent to less than 6 yuan, free to visit on Sunday.

寂寂寞生科Montserrat is located in Bogota, Colombia, with beautiful scenery, you can take the cable car up the mountain, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the whole Bogota. There is a white church built in 1650 on the mountain, and there are some coffee places, which is a good morning exercise place. There are special prices on Sunday cable cars, and of course the most people.

AA730Just diagonally opposite the Golden Museum. Free visit seems to be. On the 18th floor. No photos are allowed. In fact, there is nothing, there is a imitation of the mining area, the veins. This is more interesting. Other feelings are nothing. ordinary. There are small shops, but dare not buy.

乐乐天的静We decided to check out the museum when we walked by and it didn’t let us down. Entry is only 4000 pesos, or 1.50 usd. It’s not too big, which was great for me because I tend to get bored in museums after a while. There is some cool art and exhibits. Give yourself an hour or two to check it out. We showed up when an opera show was going on so we got to watch for a little bit which was exciting.
