Wat ons betreft een prima hotel. Wij hadden kamer Edel, op de eerste verdieping recht boven de receptie. De kamer was ruim, schoon, elke dag voorzien van nieuwe handdoeken, badjassen en slippers inclusief, koffie en thee apparaten. Tevens was er een kleine koelkast. Het bed was niet slecht, in tegenstelling tot de ervaringen van andere reviews. De badkamer was ruim voldoende en de douche heerlijk. Er is een sauna gedeelte, met een droge en een natte sauna. Daarnaast was er een verwarmd zwembad (dat wel iets warmer had gemogen voor eind oktober) en een fijne jacuzzi. Was ons betreft hadden de openingstijden van de spa wel iets ruimer mogen zijn (10-19u), zeker als je bedenkt dat gasten overdag doorgaans weg zijn. Het ontbijt was prima in orde. Lekkere streekgerechten. Wel misten wij wat afwisseling in het aanbod, zeker om wij er vier nachten verbleven.

Hello! We booked our ”Marché de Noël weekend” in Alsace as a package. The Hotel ”Munsch” is located below the ”Haute Koenigsbourg”, right by the vineyard, with the ”charm of bygone times” that we like. We received a friendly welcome. To welcome us in the afternoon, a ”Cremant”, on the house. The room was super clean, shower, separate toilet!, pleasant atmosphere, with 2 armchairs, table and TV. When the weather is not so pleasant, this is a pleasant comfort. Breakfast was from the buffet. What we particularly liked: ”cheese from France”, the ”Camembert” was outstanding. Freshly baked ”Guglhupf.” The ”Café-Bar”, a ”fully automatic machine”, with many varieties, good quality coffee. Half-board is obligatory in France. In the beautiful restaurant, ”Aux Ducs Lorraine”, in the house, we were served a 3-course meal every evening, freshly prepared. We really ”enjoyed” it. The The wine list offers regional wines and more, also by the carafe. We were not able to improve our ”French skills” this time either. We would have liked to have had more contact with ”people from and in the hotel”. What we remember fondly is ”gastronomy & hotel business.” This ”interaction” does not happen very often. The proximity to Bergheim, Egiusheim, Obernai, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauville and also Colmar is also very pleasant. Our recommendation: drive on the ”Alsace Wine Route”, the trips through the towns are an experience and never cease to amaze us. Large-sized rooms with kitchenettes give you the option of shopping at the wonderful markets of Alsace and then preparing your own food. Rooms surround a lovely, leafy courtyard. Staff is very helpful, offering to carry baggage and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. Rooms seem to be furnished with everything you would need, including a fan for warm weather! (The majority of hotels just laugh at me when I ask if they have a fan for the room.) Bergheim is very quiet at night, so there is little-to-no disturbance from outside, even with the window open. Parking is close-by and free. Could there be improvements? Yes, of course. The bathroom in my room was very small and the shower-head was quite low. The courtyard seems to be used often for private functions, limiting guests' ability to sit there. But no place is ”perfect,” and I would happily stay again (and hope to) at La Cour du Bailli.

Nous sommes clients des hôtels barrière depuis plusieurs années, mon épouse et moi souhaitions visiter la région donc pour notre première nuit tout naturellement nous avons souhaité nous rendre dans l'hôtel Barriere de RIBEAUVILLE Visuellement au moment d'accéder au parking de l'hôtel vous vous posez la question si vous ne vous êtes pas trompé avec l'entrée d'un super marché. Le bâtiment est très froid avec des coulures sur les façades en béton. Concernant l'accueil il est très convenable ,le style intérieur de l'hôtel est froid vous avez plus l'impression de vous promener dans un immeuble qui loue des meublés que dans un hôtel barrière, vous ne retrouverez pas le charme des hôtels de La Baule, de Deauville ou du Touquet ce constat reste très personnel .Le petit déjeuner est très bien, nous avons testé les restaurant le Belvédère ne faites pas la même ERREUR c'est horrible franchement comment accepter ce type d'accueil, de présentation et de qualité c'est vraiment dommage. En résumé architecture spécifique ambiance différente des Hotels Barriere visités restaurant le Belvédère le plus mauvais des restaurants testés à ce jour.
