Best Western Crossroads of the Bluffs Reviews

If you are visiting Henry Doorly Zoo this Hotel is one of the few hotels within the area that is close to the zoo. Hotel is nice and breakfast was good. Staff is generous so its a great plus. Highly recommended

All was really good. Very clean hotel with warm environment. Pool works till 11pm. Verity of food for breakfast. Hot water pressure. Hot water starts running in 1 sec

Great location, clean and friendly environment

Nice quiet room with a comfortable bed provided a good night's rest! When we discovered the electricity wasn't working on the wall with the TV, fridge, & microwave, we called the desk; someone came up immediately and found the circuit breaker to restart the electricity on that wall. The bathroom sink had a funky smell of sewer gas; flushing water through the drain helped only temporarily so we reported that to the front desk before leaving. During this road trip, we've noticed many places - not just here, that the fabric covered armchairs are soiled. Think hotels should consider avoiding fabric covered furniture that can't be easily cleaned) sanitized. The floors were vinyl & clean as was the bedding and bathroom furnishings. And all staff (front desk, custodian, & breakfast room staff we're all friendly & responsive so, it was a pleasant stay.

It would have been nice to know the pool was closed for maintenance before we got there. It was one of the reasons we chose the place to stay. We were very disappointed in that.

We have stayed at a lot of motels but have never had such a good breakfast. The hostess present kept everything so clean and updated.

The property was super clean, and the staff were very prompt, polite and helpful. When my TV was not working, within minutes of calling the front desk, an employee was in my room and fixing it. The hair dryer for my room fell off of the wall. The pillows were fluffy and soft. The pillows were nice and soft.

We picked Best Western over BridgePointe Inn where we stayed last time because their breakfast wasn’t very good. Unfortunately that was the one negative thing about Best Western. I think the food had been sitting in its warmers for waaaay too long. The tater tots were not even chewable and the eggs and sausage patties weren’t good either. Coffee had been sitting in its pot too long and waffle batter was very runny. After we got our food the friendly attendant refilled some with fresh food of which we tried the eggs which were better. She also gave all our children a bag of muffins which was sweet of her. There was LOTS of seating in the dining and lobby including multiple areas with couches or cozy chairs. I loved that all the rooms had vinyl flooring instead of rug. But there was a smell in the room that caused my throat to burn and I had a hard time falling asleep because it made me cough. It could have been because our window was by the swimming pool room? There was also a hair on the pillow and some hair on the floor of the bathroom. Otherwise it was very clean. Pool area looked very nice but we didn’t get a chance to check it in person. I’d def recommend staying in council bluffs over Omaha based on motel reviews alone

As it should be. It was decent without craziness and for a traveler you couldn't ask for much more.

Room was clean but the bed needs a new mattress kind of off the beaten path but parking lot was well lit all the doors needed a key card we had a good breakfast in the nicest eating area looked like a restaurant had a good selection only thing that bothered me was there were no biscuits and gravy we will stay there again

Rm146: had ZERO heat in Mid November 2023! And there was quite a cold draft coming in from UNDER the heating unit!! To top it off? Summer blanket. Great shower! Very nice, expansive well lit place-didn’t stick around for breakfast, though!!

Changed my room when I got there for some reason. There are no elevators and the hot tub has been covered up and is not in use anymore. Otherwise breakfast was good and room was OK.

Old on the outside really nice on the inside good parking good really breakfast 5 stars
