Celebrating birthday for my son in this hotel. Lovely to stay in 13 century hotel a very good experience. Room is spacious, lucky we have many luggages our room is on the ground floor with backyard. The food in restaurant is good but the tables are too close with the next tables.

Beautiful hotel, however staff need training in service and managing guests. The front desk called my room as a complaint was made about my children walking around by the guests below, at 10am. It is no one’s fault if floor boards creak and I think this is a reasonable time for people to walk around. I am not sure quite what the staff wanted us to do, other than be still. Disappointing service. Does not make this a ‘family-friendly’ hotel.

Excellent hotel and location! Overall this hotel was fabulous! We used it as a base to explore WW2 sites and was very easy to get around the Normandy coast. Large, comfortable rooms with top notch amenities. Hotel staff was super friendly, engaging and helpful. The restaurant was excellent with a varied range of food options and reasonably priced for the great quality. WiFi was excellent!

Booked a table for dinner in the restaurant. We came, but had to wait because many people without reservation ate there. Just wait 20 minutes was the message they told us. No effort to try and fix it. After 45 minutes, we left because a table was still not available. Disopointed.

Close enough to important sites and museums we wanted to visit but far enough from crowds and congestion. Accommodations were superb and food was delicious. Staff was very attentive in a non-obstrusive way.
