Excellent place to stay. It was very close to what we wanted to see. We were able to walk to the Bach House and Luther House and it was just a short drive to Wartburg Castle.

Ok hotel in goid location
Ok hotel in good location. Is ready for an update. Strange choice of restaurant style: caribbian. No guests in the evening. A waste of capacity. Breakfast very good and varied.

Large and spacious accommodations for a low price. Furnishings are a bit sparse and worn with few electrical outlets available, but breakfast accommodations were first class! Overall, would definitely recommend.

very Nice hotel, i stayed five days and had a very beautiful experience in this hotel. service was good overall. cleanness was nice. Behaviour of hotel staff was so good. Also food quality was perfact.

we stayed here for one night to go to Wartburg- clean, a bit dated, but okay. room was actually large, parking was FREE, breakfast great. internet did not work- but staff was helpful. Make sure to take the guided tour of the castle- we were thrilled to have a private tour, as there were no other English speakers who signed up with our group.

What we liked most about the Glockenhof were the authentic public areas (bar, restaurants, patio etc.) which, after a rather sterile experience in Berlin were a pleasure. The food was great. We had a huge room with a triple bay window. The bathroom was slightly dated but fully functional.The hotel is literally just yards from the Bachhouse, commemorating J.S.Bach. The Luther house appears to be closed at the moment, but Eisenach is a splendid town - and Wartburg castle just up the hill!

The down duvet was so comfortable- the only one on our trip. The hotel is well located and the breakfast was lovely. Our only negative would be the 8 or 10 steep marble steps to the lobby. We are 2 older women with back issues and have a hard time with our luggage on stairs!
