Tucked away in the labyrinth alleys of the Medina, Riad Algila transports one into a world of tranquility & elegance. The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside. Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay. Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

Beautiful place and location, had a lot of history and uniqueness, service good and staff friendly. Perfect place for fabulous photos. Would stay again if the opportunity arises. We decided to tip at the end of our stay which is acceptable but think the staff changed slightly towards us not knowing this so guess might have been better to tip daily?

Lovely place. I contracted a digestive illness before arriving and needed to see a doctor. Raja - the manager on duty - took Great care of me. She sent for a doctor, and translated, and made sure my medicines were correct, and arranged for me to be fed in my room. Her English was excellent and I couldn't have asked for better care. Laundry service was less than ideal. Restaurant was very nice. Would stay there again.

Being in Morroco has been an interesting experience for me. You can't tell what the hotel will be like from the street. You go through the front door and are immediately pleased with what you see. Unique style for an american. Breakfast was great.

I loved this riad!!! Everyone was so helpful, but I want to particularly point out Hassan, who was so wonderful and helped us again and again with some many things. The hotel is beautiful, clean, centrally located, and the breakfast is yummy. I highly recommend this hotel in Fes!

Riad Algila is truly a fantastic place to stay in.The location is in the 9th century settlement of Fes and it takes a while to get there from the main road The Riad is done up tastefully with intricate fountains. There's a display of berber handicrafts which makes it look charming.Mohammed and Raja at the reception take personal care of the guests and surprised us with a beautiful decoration in the room. The Moroccan Breakfast is delicious. We could spend a lot of time in the Medina, shopping for artifacts, eating tradional Moroccan cuisine and getting a glimpse of the Moroccan way of life on our own only because getting there from the Riad on our own was easy . Highly recommend staying here

The Riad was really nice. Clean and spacious room and bathroom with all the amenities. The location is magical as is a refurbished Riad with all beautiful maroccan architectural details. Is in the medina so easy to walk around and 5 minutes walk from the first road with Taxi capabilities. 8 minutes from the famous Blue Gate. Quiet area and good night o f sleep. The personnel was professional and kind and helpful to answer our questions. the breakfast was nice.

The Algila Fes was the perfect oasis in Marrakech. It is ideally located near fascinating historical and cultural sites as well as fabulous shops and a variety of cooperatives selling incredible Moroccan arts and handicrafts. The staff were always professional and friendly and rooms and open spaces were beautiful. If I return to Marrakech, I will return to the Algila Fes!

Our stay at Riad Algila Fes was great. My husband fell ill and the staff went out of their way to ensure his comfort. I am forever appreciative of this. The staff suggested assisted with dinner reservations and transportation to get out of Fes. Their hospitality truly enhanced the Fes medina experience. It is a standout choice for anyone looking for explore this beautiful city.

A few problems the first night with hot water but were immediately upgraded to a better room with no problems first thing in the morning. Prompt action by management was much appreciated .

Utterly charming riad managed by excellent people who advised us on everything from food to sights. Madame Raja pointed us to a wonderful hammam from which my sister-in-law and I came out with skin like a baby's. The young men on the riad staff cared for us so well, too--making sure we were comfy and informed and safe. Best of all, management arranged for a fantastic guide (Ben from Morocco Dream Travel--ASK FOR HIM) so that our day touring Fez is one of the most remarkable in my (looong) life.

The riad was beautiful (w/ great location!), food was superb, the staff was incredibly hospitable, and the rooms were extremely comfortable with comfortable beds and beautiful decorations. Given the chance, we would stay here again!!

Every year, I bring a small group of photographers to Morocco with our company Open Sky Expeditions. We have used The Algila Fes for the last 8 years and we couldn't be happier. The service is friendly and prompt, the rooms comfortable, beautiful, and varied, and it's hard to beat the ambiance of the three courtyard-centered buildings. Nice, quiet rooftop, too! I would recommend this hotel as a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the medina...located in a quiet section with easy access to vehicle pick-up and drop-off points. While they have good food at the riad, they're also mere minutes walking from two restaurants that we love, Fes Cafe and Ruined Garden. Highly recommend!

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Nice pool. And most important - the staff is wonderful - so pleasant and available for all kinds of challenges one might face when traveling. Great location too - close enough to places worth visiting.
