Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

Pros: The hotel is very clean and location is very convenient, close to beach and many good restaurants. Bed is comfortable. Cons: parking and drinks are expensive. And the refrigerator is very noisy.

Our stay was nothing short of amazingly relaxing. Perfect location, clean, professional and friendly team members and my room was perfectly located. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you for making my first visit to Ft Lauderdale memorable!!

The restaurant Riviera had fantastic food and drinks. Housekeeping was very slow, so on some days we opted out on getting our room cleaned.

Property was in the perfect location close to dining options. Loved the amenities that come with the resort fee including the bicycle rentals, signature drinks, yoga sessions, bottles of water and chairs at the beach. Room was clean and comfortable have no complaints. Great property for the price I will only stay here when coming to Fort Lauderdale.

This hotel has great potential. You can tell the staff is really trying. Cassandra and Sean were very kind while trying to be super accommodating. We had just gotten in from a cruise out of Miami but couldn't check into the room until 4pm. They allowed us to store our baggage and use the facilities at no extra charge while we waited. We changed and swam in the pool on the 5th floor. While the pool was nice, there were no attendants to clean up, help out etc. also, the pool bar closed at 5, on a Saturday. We did get a drink voucher.We tried the beach but no umbrellas available and it was hot. The room was good. The bathroom, not so much. The mirror on the wall was broken on the bottom right corner exposing sharp glass. The hairdryer was impossible to find and once I did it looked like it had been used and abused. The handle was cover in a sorry film. Yuck. It worked but had orange flame color coming out of it. I didn't use it that long. The door to the bathroom is huge and you are unable to pass the vanity to get to the toilet if it is open. The toilet paper was very far out of reach when we ran out as well. There were weird water leaks all through the building, The hallway a/c wasn't working and it was smelly in the halls. The price wasn't worth the stay but you can tell they are trying. I'd give it another go if it was cheaper.

The hotel is clean comfortable and friendly and in a great location. The beautiful beach is right across the street with the most friendly and helpful attendant Rolan. He helped make our beach vacation perfect.
