Facilities: very old. The quilt feathers are floating all over the room Hygiene: average Environment: Very good, just across the road from the seaside, with all kinds of shops around Service: I left a charging device in the room in the morning and couldn't find it in the afternoon. Makes people feel insecure.

Tips: Those with balconies are facing the sea sideways, and the floor positions are not ideal. It is recommended to have a high-rise sea view room. Although there is no balcony, a front view of the Gulf of Mexico is still very good. Evaluation: The front desk service is very good, the hotel parking building 2F directly leads to the front desk, the room facilities are complete, the sanitation is good, the Lexington aircraft carrier is 5KM away from the aircraft carrier, and the South Texas Art Museum designed by Philip Jensen is within walking distance. Very recommended!

The hotel is currently under construction and that did impact my review. The lobby, bar, and eating area are all together when you walk in and is small compared to what I was expecting from photos. I’m not sure if this is due to the construction but it felt cramped and dated as it was not yet updated. I was never able to find the restaurant in this hotel. Again perhaps because of construction. Our room, while renovated, still had some minor issues with the shades not working and the phone not working. The new design of the rooms is nicely updated in terms of style and perhaps when the rest of the hotel is updated in the same manner this would be a better place to stay. I would recommend this hotel after the renovations are done.

Not a great experience with this hotel. After we were checked into our room, the front desk checked another couple into the same room. That couple had keys to our room and came in while we were in the room which was very unsettling. When I got up in the morning and turned the lights on in the bathroom, there were a few small roaches in there. I let the front desk know upon checkout and she seemed unconcerned and said “Hmmm, we haven’t even had rain or anything lately”, leading me to believe this is a recurring issue. I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel was bad enough, and beyond overpriced for the condition that it was in, that I wanted to try to warn others.

The room was not worth the cost. We did not find our stay very comfortable. The down bedding didn’t smell very fresh, made us hot and sweaty and required us to have to run the air conditioner constantly. This dried out our throats and made us sick. The noise from the elevator made us wonder about it. We were sitting in the lobby and saw a big silverfish on the rug. We had to request coffee to be replaced even though the room was made up. It wasn’t the level of service expected for the price. We also had to pay for parking. Many cheaper hotels in the area provide some things fee, like coffee and parking. We stayed there because of the proximity to the conference centre but we would not stay there again.

Room was very nice. Restaurant was over priced and VERY slow not worth the money. Hotel was ok overall but a lot of construction going on.

Customer service was great, Dylan was very helpful upon my checkin. Dylan, gave me some vouchers that included a free appetizer at Landry’s which was right next door to the hotel. However, once I got to my room, it smelled like mildew. We called the front desk and they helped us out immediately switching rooms for us. After a few hours of being in the room we spotted a cockroach, we saw no more for the night. Then during the next night another cockroach appeared. The room was clean, however there were multiple stains on the pillows that were possibly just stains that could not get out after washing. The comforter was shedding a lot, also considering it was a white comforter during the daytime we could see through the comforter which was disgusting, seeing black cotton inside the comforter.

Great hotel right across from the waterfront and an incredible seawall. Be aware that you need a vehicle during weekdays as the trolley did not run on a Monday.

Great spot but grateful we were allowed to use the pool next door at the other resort because there was no advance notice that the pool and hot tubs and sauna would be down during our visit. With annual maintenance being something that is scheduled in advance, it’s bothersome they don’t communicate with us.

Unfortunately, I didn’t had a good experience in my stay when we got there they said the room is ready they gave us the key went upstairs. The room is horrible shape they took the sheets off to replace it was not done at all. All the trash was inside from previews person anyway, they told us the room is ready, which was not ready at all. We had to come back, sitting in the lobby for three hours until 430 then they gave us another room because it’s still the room was not ready for the second time we went upstairs and Managment didn’t do anything to make us happy in August and the second thing they had their remodeling in process which in the website was saying the remodeling is between January to February 1 and unfortunately they didn’t say still is going on while we were there and the pool area was completely closed which when my book they were talking about how beautiful is the pool is and there is a bar in there but unfortunately, the old were closed down for us. We cannot we couldn’t enjoy any of those as well or they was horrible. The room itself was comfortable after of course they gave us the clean room, overall not a good experience

Hotel was good , location is great. The only thing is that during the remodeling that is going on right now there's no guidance where you need to go, and no signs at all. You have fo figure it out your self
