A hidden gem that serves out of this world food. I wanted to find a rural authentic historic French hotel for the journey back to the port of St Malo and I was not disappointed. This place is perfect in a quiet spot 35 minutes from St Malo. The dinner was totally incredible and breakfast was delicious. I will always remember eating here and I thoroughly recommend it. Owner speaks English as well.

We stayed at Le Vieux Moulin for three nights over a weekend in July The Hotel and the restaurant are quite delightful and your hosts, Virginie and Fergal are the perfect Hoteliers. If you are looking to stay in this part of Brittany, look no further. This Hotel has it all and the food quality is to die for.

Hidden in La Vallee des Mouilins, this hotel is a hidden gem. With easy access (a 5 min walk) from the centre of the village of Hédé and within a five minute drive from the famous 'Onze Ecluses' there is plenty to do and see in this area and this is a great central location to stay. The owners are very accommodating (we were travelling with a young child), the family rooms are ideal and comfortable and the food in the restaurant is superb. All in all, a great place to stay for a few days.

Arrived a bit late after we had a breakdown on the A28. Greeted warmly and soon we were refreshed and having a superb evening meal. We stayed two nights, and dined in both evenings. The food was superb. A good breakfast set us up for our days out, and we were given a spot to safely park our motorcycle. Nothing was too much trouble. Sitting in the garden after our evening meal with our coffee was magical. We would stay again!

We chose to spend the last night of our vacation here. A very charming inn located in the small town of Hede. The area is very quiet and secluded. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We added both breakfast and dinner to our reservation and were pleasantly surprised. Recommended!

Birthday meal on May 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM - The restaurant only offered one set menu (with several options), but all the dishes were delicious; both the ingredients and the presentation were perfect. Furthermore, given the very favorable weather conditions, the meal was served on the outdoor terrace. As for the staff, we couldn't be happier: a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a great sense of humor, which was a nice touch. A restaurant to frequent without hesitation.
