All in all a great experience being on vacation on the Arminda Hotel. Nice staff and decent food for an all inclusive hotel. The hotel is clean both inside and outside and the pool areas is great for the kids as well as adults. Only real disadvatace is that people still smoke within the hotels area.

We had the most amazing trip to Crete and Arminda Hotel and spa did NOT disappoint, we had the most incredible stay. The rooms were very comfortable with plenty of space. The chose of food and swimming pool areas was great! My 4 year old had the best time including the entertainment in the evenings was a great standard. The kids club is so lovely. The beach is close and lovely to spend time at just a short walk from the hotel. We went to Stalis a few times by taxi would recommend doing this. I would also definitely recommend having a treatment or two at the spa it was so relaxing and worth the money some great deals. Just to top off a great stay. When I got home I realised I had left my watch in the safe in the room, I contacted the hotel and they managed to find my watch two days later and without fail posted the watch back to me in England I am forever thankful. The staff are so accommodating and friendly the cleaning team are also great!!!! A very happy family who will definitely be returning !!!! Thank you.

From arrival to departure we had no complaints whatsoever. Arrived very late and restaurant was kept open for us. We were shown around and escorted to our rooms. the rooms were spotless and kept that way each and every day. Nothing was too much to ask for. Every employee went out of their way to help and assist us. Food was good and a different cocktail provided everyday. Kids enjoyed their 'mocktail' too. There were no complaints from our party of 12. Would highly recommend and we will certainly pay another visit.

Very nice hotell. Clean. Near to the beach. Many pools so you have enough space. Not crowded. The kids really enyojed the play area with ping pong etc. They also liked the minigolf section. Played every night. Food is very good. Loved the spa treatment. Staff is very nice and helpful.

My stay at this hotel had both positives and negatives. There was quite a bit of smoking around the bars and pools, and even on the balconies. When the balcony door was open, the entire room smelled like smoke. Despite signs prohibiting smoking, it was prevalent in many areas. The food was average with limited variety. Some dishes were overdone or undercooked, and the overall taste could be improved. One evening, I ate calamari and was the only one in my family to do so. Shortly after, I became very sick with vomiting and diarrhea, which was definitely caused by the food. The cocktail options were limited to two choices per day until 11 PM (then the all in ends), and they didn’t taste great, having a fake and strange alcohol flavor. Additionally, the drinks from the stations lacked flavor and carbonation, as mentioned in other reviews. However, the paid Aperol and other cocktails were good. Guests mainly from Scandinavia. The rooms were very noisy, and you could hear everything. When we spoke to other families, they all said the same thing. Our neighbor was on FaceTime every night on the balcony, and we could hear every word. We stayed at the back of the main building, where the mini disco and kids' shows took place. It felt like our bed was in the mini disco when we tried to have an early night. There was a door from the outside to the hallway that we would close, but nobody entering the building seemed to feel the need to shut it behind them. This meant we had to close it ourselves up to ten times an evening. I honestly don't understand why no one has mentioned that the rooms are very noisy, and you can hear everything. When we spoke to other families, they all said the same thing. The room had a few maintenance issues. The door didn’t close well and didn’t fit properly in the frame, letting in a lot of light from the hallway. There was only one outlet by the beds, which was inconvenient for charging phones. The shower drain didn’t work properly, causing the bathroom to flood. Although we called twice and it was fixed, the issue persisted. Additionally, the soap and shower gel dispensers were empty. The pools were good, though they were quite busy, and many beds were reserved. The pool next to the slides was especially crowded with a lot of unattended children who were bothering other guests. On the other hand, the relaxation pool was fantastic—calm and enjoyable, with a nice bar and excellent staff. The ladies at the reception were excellent—truly 100%. They were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist with any questions and make inquiries, all while being extremely friendly. Overall, the stay had its challenges, but there were some redeeming aspects as well. Altough we had a nice holiday we would not return. For us the hotel is more like a hotel to stay when you go on daytrips which we did the second week not to stay inside for 1,5 week.

Three years ago, I visited this beautiful hotel that Arminda Hotel & Spa is. This year, I returned and I have to say that it's still a very sweet hotel. Everything is still pretty much the same. The people who work there are very kind, while the services are of a good and fast quality. There is also a big variety when it comes to the food that we get three times a day. The food that we get is always very delicious and of a large amount. The cleaning service provides good and fast service, which is very nice. The multiple bars that the hotel has, are also a massive bonus, because they provide tasty food and drinks. For example, the cocktails that change every day. But the one big improvement that I noticed, was the new crew of animators. When I went to this hotel three years ago, there were only just three animators in the hotel. I have got to say that the number of activities has increased massively. No disrespect to these animators, but the animators that I met this year were just levels above those three. These men and women put so much hard work and energy in this job just to make sure that the people in the hotel are having a great time. For example the comedy show that they do every week, activities in the Spa, fitness, pools, etc. I think it's very underrated how much they have to do to make this happen. That's why I wanted to write a review about this hotel to show my big respect for every single animator that is currently working in this hotel. It's also a message for the hotel to keep bringing in these animators, because they improve the atmosphere around the hotel. These people that I met are very kind and bring a very positive vibe around the place. Also credits for the big chief Alessandro, because besides all the important stuff that he does, like arranging meetings, he was also able to mould these animators into a group of friends who are very attached to each other. I hope to see them again one day.

Very clean and tidy hotel, animation team was good for the kids, plenty of activites throughout the day. Like the idea of self serve drinks (soft drinks, beer, and wine) the shorts are at one of the bars. Room was spacious, smart tv which was helpful with netflix etc when chilling out, free wifi throughout. Only thing let the hotel down was the food, we ate out most nights, but apart from that, very happy we stayed there. One more thing the beach, there no was drinks available for our hotel or sunbeds without paying as it belonged to hotel next door, who served drinks and snacks to their customers.

For my first spa treatment, the hotel spa services was a great opportunity and wonderful experience to have took part in during my stay here! In my treatment I got an Aloe Vera facial from spa therapist Ivana and not only was the service utterly pleasant but the care and attention given to me and my mum by the staff was exceptional. We even had some trouble sorting out payment and the staff were more than willing and happy to help us out. Would love to get treatment again if we ever stay in this hotel in the future, wish I had this kind of service back at home! Lovely lovely people!

Just come back from a lovely relaxing week at Arminda Hotel. Excellent location in between Stalida and Hersonissos, 15min walk to stalida or 30min walk to Hersonissos, buses available from outside the hotel every half an hour 2 euros each or taxis 10 euros that the hotel can book for you. We had a day trip to Heraklion which was 6 euros each way and took about 45mins on the bus but definitely worth a visit. Lovely clean rooms with towels changed daily and rooms cleaned daily. Evening entertainment ok, but nothing special but didn’t spoil holiday. Adult relaxing pool which was lovely with a bar and food served all day, kids pool areas which also had bars and snacks throughout the day, but as adults we stayed in the adult area. The spa is available for anyone wanting any treatments and the lovely ladies came round the pool areas daily offering 2mins free massages. Plenty of water activities at a cost and quad bike hire or moped hire locally, which my husband took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area, whilst I relaxed by the pool. Food in the main dining area which served, breakfast, lunch and evening meal, plenty of space and food was good, something for everyone with different themed nights. There was always a daily cocktail, alcohol served daily till 11pm, only downside was that the local lager was very weak and tasteless. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend and visit again.

Just come back from 10 wonderful days at this all inclusive hotel. Cannot praise the staff and hotel highly enough. Clean, friendly, spacious and brilliantly located. We had a 2 room, 1 bath suite. Wine, slippers and robes in the room. The sheets were changed 3 times while we were there and room cleaned every day except Sunday. The main restaurant had so much choice of food, always delicious and piping hot. There’s also 2 snack bars with pizza, salad, pastries, ice cream etc. I had 3 treatments at the spa which was clean and so relaxing. The only downside is that it is by the children’s pool and I would imagine that hearing kids play in the background may be not very relaxing for some people. Must confess it didn’t bother me. The hotel is 30 mins away from the airport and 15 from Hersonissos and a gorgeous village called Koutouloufari (defo worth a visit). We went with Jet 2 and the rep was available 5 days a week and was a mine of information on where to visit and what day trips were available. The hotel has a shop which seemed to be permanently open. Very lovely owner and her son, nothing was too much trouble. They sold local gifts, pool floats, water, chocolate etc. there was also 2 other shops within a 10 min walk selling homemade crafts as well as groceries. A private beach shared with 1 other hotel was lovely, it was a tiny cove so the water was gentle enough for everyone with pedalo, jet ski and boat hire.

Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff and nice overlook views to the sea. Cons: Food & Beverages, no access to the beach nearby as it belongs to some neighbor’s fancy 5-star hotel. We stayed with this all-inclusive hotel for a week with 3 kids. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially people at the bar kudos to them! The room was clean and fits to its purposes. The pools are ok and not over crowded. The activities are quite boring. The food is very much the same every day. They will provided couple of different food according to the theme eg. fried frozen spring rolls on Asian night theme or pasta with ham on Italian night. The worst part was most of meat are overcooked and hard like rock, seems like they keep serving leftovers from the other days and keep frying until the meats get dried and tasteless. They provide self service drinks with some water. juices, sodas, wine and beer all of which taste terrible. I have to buy the water and drinks from outside shops. They also offer 2 different cocktails per day. You have to pay extra if you need have something else. We don’t feel safe to walk along of beach. My small kids and I were harassed by a neighbor hotel security guard when we walked passed on the beach in front of a 5-star hotel they said the beach was a hotel property and no trespassing. It quit terrified and felt unsafe to walk around and enjoy the hotel’s nearby beach.

We had here a wonderful experience! The rooms are spacious, very clean and well equipped. The receptionists were extraordinary helpful. The food is great and diverse. Very good daily cocktails. The only disadvantage was that they don't own a beach, but nearby in like 200 meters there is nana beach, sandy beach kids friendly. It costs 25. Euros for 2 beds or you can stay on you own towels on the sand for free. Also the arminda stuff allowed us to a late check out for 50 euros because our flight was in the night ! Also the night shows for kids are very nice ! We had a greate time ! Arminda you are special !

The hotel seems to be clean, but its not what it seems. After 3 days, we noticed one cockroach running on the floor in our hotel room. We immediately went to reception, where they offered to spray the room and be away one hour to let the spray work. They did not have any other room for us. But they said that after spraying, we are not going to have this problem again and the room is safe. They also mentioned that those cockroaches can go to other rooms so maybe they would be now alrwady in other room. Next day they offered new room, but we thought that maybe we can stay in our room, cause they said that it is safe now after spraying and they also mentioned that usually cockroaches are seen upstair rooms. Well next day when we went to sleep, there were several cockroaches running on the floor and one climbing in the wall. That was so disgusting. We run to the reception and said that we are not going to sleep in this room anymore. We changed the room, but the holiday was already ruined. I dont recommend to use this hotel. Too expensive with poor quality.

There is nothing to complain at this hotel. All the facillities are good. Everything is clean. The staff is very friendly and very helpfull. So to say we enjoyed our stay very much. We did find it a good place to relax and to read a book at the pool.
