NH Iquique Costa Reviews

When we arrived we were told that Trip's reservation was for 2 single beds. When we told them that it was our honeymoon, they not only assigned us a room with a double bed but also with a view of the sea. They always looked after us very well, in a welcoming way. Exquisite food. The only problem is the location, since you have to take an Uber or similar because it is a bit dangerous to walk out (not much of a path). Everything else very good.

We had a late night checkin and early departure, but the room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety. Staff was nice and parking was secure & close.

I liked the pool the food and the people always trying to help in this hotel. The view was spectacular.

With a waterfront location somewhat secluded from central Iquique, stays at this property are quiet and relaxing. The atmosphere inside is dated, but I observed cleanliness throughout the building. The staff at reception and the restaurant (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (breakfast available free with certain room rates)) were professional and friendly, perhaps not the American-style outgoing type but still kind and helpful. I was able to pay a reasonable fee to upgrade to a room facing the water, which I was very content about; my king room was clean, spacious, and super quiet. Renovations would be the next step to making the rooms even better, though. I would return to the NH Costa if I’m in Iquique again! And for my very first experience in an NH hotel, my interest in the brand is piqued!

I paid almost $250 a night and expected a property that merited that price. This property merited a price of less than $100 per night. It is not well located, no restaurants close by, etc. I would give it a 3 star rating at best.

I booked this hotel for my honeymoon 2 weeks in advance thinking I had made the right choice; clearly I was wrong. I will start with the good stuff: the room was clean. Now the bad: Our room had the shower door broken, so water would flood the bathroom. We booked a sea view room, which was more expensive, but the window was dirty from the inside and outside. The A/C was busted and I complained the moment I got in, but no one came to fix it or apologized. The bar had no decent drinks aside from standard Stoli and a standard Beefeater. No tonic water, which is a no-no. I asked them to go and buy and they said they had "procedures to follow" and couldn't. Overall the hotel was very dirty in places that could have clearly been well cleaned with ease (like the elevator which had sticky glue and dust). I went to the front desk and expressed all this, and I still got no one to fix the A/C, buy tonic water or give me any kind of apology or compensation, not even a late checkout on Sunday because our flight was at 7 PM and it was our honeymoon and I bought the whole trip as a package at a travel agent (Viajes Falabella). Stay away from this place.

Me encanto el Hotel Muy bueno el servicio prestado me voy bien conforme y obio para otro viaje vuelvo sin pensarlo. muy grato el personal especialmente a la señora marta pinto que nos atendió super bien y preocupada. Una vista espectacular al mar, piscina excelente .

Viaje de trabajo, espacios adecuados para reuniones, bonita vista de las habitaciones, limpieza e higiene, excelente desayuno. No me gustó que algunas habitaciones se unen por una puerta y no preguntan antes.

Destacó la amabilidad de Marta en el desayuno recibido. Felicitaciones a la variedad de productos tanto en el desayuno como en la cena, para pasajeros como yo que no como tanta carne y masas variedad de pescados ensaladas y platos veganos Lo mismo para el desayuno, leche sin lactosa, huevo duro y más que todo el detalle de presentación. Muchas felicidades

Entrar al baño y qe caiga agua por lampara de iluminacion en todo el cuerpo y sin saber qe tipo de agua es es desagradable no se lo doy a nadien y llamar y llamar a resepcion y no contestar tube qe salir todo mojado a aviasrle a personal de aseo y mas encima adaba con mi hija menor de edad asi no le ubiese pasado a ella o nos uviesemos electricutado 😡

Lamentablemente, tuvimos una experiencia desagradable, cuando retornamos al Hotel el sábado a las 02AM tenían cerrados los Accesos, (portón), esperando casi 40 minutos para que nos abrieran , mas de 15 llamados sin contestar y mi sobrina que se sentía mal de salud, ni siquiera un timbre en la portería, desastroso, lo demás ningún problema, Realizo esta sugercia para que puedan tomar en cuenta.

Excelente el hotel para venir en familia. Muy buena la atención en el restaurant, especialmente de Marta, muy preocupada. La limpieza e higiene de los baños y de las habitaciones son excelentes. El desayuno muy bueno y variado, siempre reponen todo. La piscina y áreas comunes extraordinarias.
