Stay was good. Layout of hotel somewhat inconvenient to get to rooms with luggage due to stairs in hallways (cart usage).

A Get Away,
The hotel room was very accommodating with a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and balcony. The restaurant food was fair. The female clerk at the Legend’s Golf course was not friendly and very rude. We chose not to golf because of the way we were treated.

Overall a really cool spot. The hotel is immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. There is a lot to do outside of just golfing.
My only complaint is that our hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. Every room has a balcony or patio. You could tell people were on the balconies smoking. Our room didn't smell or anything like that so a very minor issue.

Great place to stay
This hotel, is kind of dated, but clean. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The restaurant was really very good, and the staff was friendly.

It started off Rocky the first room we found a roach but the staff made up and changed my room with an upgrade...so the next time I visit I want that room.

The entire building, including the room, needed updating and/or maintenance. It felt like there was absolutely no pride in the property. There is no breakfast included, the ice machines are remote and in disrepair. We reserved a lake view, which turned out to be a noisy pool view along with a distant lake view. A nice balcony was included, along with screaming kids from the pool, and no internet once you went out the slider. The room’s furniture needed to be replaced, and since there was no desk, counter space and seating was very limited. Unfortunately, there aren’t many options up there so they still pack in the people and apparently don’t have the time or need to renovate.

It was okay and no more than okay.
The views are beautiful, the room was clean. However, the hotel needs to be updated, the halls were musty. Getting to our room was confusing, we had to go up and down several sets of stairs to get there. No elevator to get to rooms. They must be short staffed as they offered no cleaning service during our stay, the trash was overflowing, but they still had an envelope asking for a tip. The coffee shop employees are just rude. It was just ok and we wouldn't visit again. Overpriced for the experience.

I enjoyed my mini weekend getaway, 3 nights. I booked thru ******* and daily maid service was included, however upon arriving no cleaning service. This was my only mini getaway and such a hassle of calling to get trash removed, change of towels, not having wipes to clean bathroom. However i loved the resort, the indoor pool was great since we had rain, restaurants were good, a little pricey. Breakfast was average to hotel breakfast, they did have omelet station, but they took a long time. I ate there only once .
Would I return, yes. However, checking about full service. I traveled with my family of 4. Rooms were a good size, comfy, fridge, microwave . 18 min drive to Torch lake.
