Hotels in In Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, Kunshan

The B&B is located in the scenic area, which is convenient for sightseeing. We arrived at night and called the B&B owner, who quickly came to show us the way. The room was very clean. I forgot to take pictures of the room. I booked a family suite with a loft and a small balcony. The pictures I took were the views from the balcony. When I left, the proprietress gave me a bag of Suzhou pastries. She was very enthusiastic. It was my first time staying in a B&B there, and I also saw the night view. There were also few people visiting in the morning, so it was a good experience!

A hotel with a very artistic atmosphere, close to the archway, very suitable for families. There is a tent for children to play on the balcony, various artworks made of cardboard boxes downstairs, and a small train. It is also close to the Shuangqiao Bridge.

The room is spacious, perfect for families with older children. The owner's special homemade dishes were absolutely delicious, complemented by warm, family-like service. The B&B is conveniently situated right by one of the scenic area's entrances, which makes exploring the attractions incredibly easy. It's also located away from the noisy, bustling parts, ensuring a peaceful stay, especially in the mornings and evenings.

This was my second visit to Zhouzhuang, and I brought my 10-month-old baby this time. The accommodation didn't disappoint at all; the environment was fantastic! The landlady was incredibly warm and even offered pick-up and drop-off services. We had lunch at her restaurant, and the food was delicious, plus she gave us a discount. We also got to watch fireworks from the open-air balcony at 8 PM. They even put safety padding on all the corners in our room, which was so thoughtful. I actually bought a lifetime pass for Zhouzhuang (the entrance ticket) specifically because of this guesthouse, as I'm definitely coming back again. It was just a bit too crowded during this National Day holiday, making it hard to move around with a baby. Environment: Absolutely superb, it felt just like home. Service: I'm not exaggerating, the landlady's service was truly exceptional!

The upper left is the very comfortable hotel where I stayed during this trip. The owner and his family were very hospitable. The bathtub room was very comfortable. I didn't want to leave in the end. Zhouzhuang was also very cooperative and standardized. It was good to eat, sleep and do everything else.

During a visit to Zhouzhuang, I stayed at the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. The hotel is located inside the ancient town, but if you check in before 5 PM, you'll need to purchase a ticket to enter. Parking is available in the parking lot outside the town, which costs 20 yuan per day. The walk from the parking lot to the hotel can be quite hot in the summer. The hotel will contact you in advance to let you know where to park. The hotel is quite nice, with a quaint atmosphere. The room is spacious and comfortable, with a TV with screen projection. There's also a coffee machine, two bottles of drinks, and two sesame cookies. Breakfast ends a bit early at 9:30 PM, but the noodles, wontons, bread, freshly squeezed juice, and coffee are more than enough for a satisfying breakfast. After check-out, we received a complimentary Zhouzhuang specialty, sock-bottom pastry. However, we could use more insect control, as there were several small flies and mosquitoes in the bathroom.

This hotel is in a great location. Every corner of the courtyard is well designed, elegant and full of Zen. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is thoughtful and meticulous. The lady at the front desk is very friendly. She will contact me in advance before check-in, and send the navigation location on WeChat. She even sent a route map she made herself in case we couldn't find the parking lot according to the navigation. It's really reassuring to meet such a store when staying in a hotel. Every scenic spot and performance time in Zhouzhuang will be carefully sent to me, including which breakfast is delicious. I am really satisfied with this trip to Zhouzhuang, and I am also very glad that I chose this hotel. Except for the fact that it is a little noisy during the construction during the day, I am really super satisfied with everything else!!! I heard from the lady that it will be almost completed before the Spring Festival. If I have time by then, I will definitely come back to experience it!

Our stay here was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the accommodation was very comfortable. My child loves baths, which was why we chose this place; the disposable plastic liners provided for the tub made us feel very safe and at ease. In the evenings, the owner even set out watermelon and other fruits in the lobby for everyone to enjoy freely. We'd sip tea, chat, and it was incredibly relaxing! Inside, there's a large alligator snapping turtle and three smaller turtles. My child absolutely loved repeatedly feeding watermelon to the alligator snapping turtle. When it was time to leave, my child didn't want to go! It was a truly wonderful trip, and I've attached some photos for reference.

This time when I came to Zhouzhuang, I stayed in a homestay that really surprised me. The room was consistent with the picture. The decoration style was simple and elegant. I liked it very much. The bed was super comfortable, the hygiene was very clean, and the facilities were complete. I felt relieved to stay there. The surrounding transportation was also very convenient. The staff was warm and polite, and they would meet my needs as soon as possible. I will choose this homestay next time!

This inn is in such a beautiful location. I only stayed one night, but definitely want to come back and stay longer. The host was warm and friendly. We connected on WeChat the day before and she provide a waypoint for gps when booking a car. She met up with me in the pedestrian street outside of the town’s gate to guide me in and helped with the luggage. The location is very convenient. This is an ancient town so the street surfaces are stone slabs and uneven cobblestones. But going in is mostly smooth, cross one bridge and the inn is right there, about as close to the entrance and as least hassle as you can get. The waterway in front of the inn is travelled by the row boats whether they’re on the day or evening tour route so there’s plenty to people watch from the balcony. Overall a great place, great host, and highly recommended. Little tip, if you can store luggage at the airport or train station, take only what you need for your stay so you don’t have too much luggage to weigh you down for the trek in and out. The balcony rooms are walkup only.
