Staff are very nice and helpful, we had a smooth check in and learned how to use the access code for gaining access to the room. The room is very spacious with nice cool design, the TV is big and nice. Location of the hotel is very close to Kyoto train station and local amenities.

The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and they are as big and spacious as the others. A family of six can eat and drink at the same time without any pressure. There is a Dyson hairdryer, which is a plus. The only drawback is that there is no parking lot.

Nice, young, good location

The kitchen was very large, the desk was big, and the size of the room was such that even about 15 people could have a party! It was good that Netflix was connected to the TV ◎ Tableware and cooking utensils are also available. Everything in the room was sophisticated and clean! The correspondence of the staff was also good. Speaking of force, the room was a little cold because the room was large and the concrete walls made it difficult to heat the room. ..

Not hungry at the location

This place was great. Short walk from the Kyoto station. Modern and clean. Spacious and we loved the queen size bunk beds and fireplace in the room option that we picked. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We LOVED this hotel. Spacious, clean, very minimalist and 'cool' with a New York loft feel. So much room for all of us and Netflix for the kids. Great location next to Kyoto Station. Comfy beds, laundry, coffee machine in reception. Opposite the most beautiful temple and close to everything you need. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Love the bathroom and the room was great as we could buy fresh food from the supermarket and cooked meals. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Will come back for sure! The area is quiet but still really close to the station, seems less touristy and the temple opposite is beautiful and peaceful.

My family of four stayed at 20 Pieces while on vacation in Kyoto. The staff was professional and helpful, and spoke English very well. The room was spacious and very well set up and comfortable. We will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Big room. Great for family travel. Like the kitchen and kitchen wares give traveler an opportunity to cook and try local food.

I picked hotels blindly based solely on walking distance from train stations and budget. So, what a surprise this fabulous hotel was. Yes, the location was great particularly for a trip like ours where we wanted to see everything (hah! well, we tried) and proximity to transportation was key. But the bonus was being right across from one of the best and least tourist overrun major temples in Kyoto - Higashi Hongan-ji and THAT was our world class view from our room! An open invitation to morning service at 7 a.m. and sitting with the monks as they chant beautifully was an experience to be remembered. The room itself was amazing. Those were luxury bunkbeds - super comfortable and great sheets and pillows. ALL the amenities were top notch and luxurious from the kitchenette with a big sink, induction cook top (I think, we didn't actually cook because, hey, vacation), the high end kettle, etc; to the dyson hair dryer ... which brings me to the bathroom. I weep for having to leave the bathroom. OF COURSE the toilet was great. But the wet room shower and soaking tub after walking miles and miles all over this amazing city was bliss. The staff was very helpful. They straightened out a major duty free mess for us, recommended good sake, and loaned us artisan quality sake set to drink it in! The washer and dryer was a great bonus, too. We stayed in three other hotels during our trip. All were good but this was the roomiest, best appointed, most unique, and best staffed.

I had such a nice stay at 20 pieces!! It’s located near Kyoto Station, and there is a bus stop near the hotel. The area is very lovely, it has a few convenience store, supermarkets and restaurants… I stayed in the “Loft B” type of room, which has an amazing view of the Higashi Honganji Temple! It was amazing to look at it in different lights.. you can even see Kyoto Tower which at night is even more beautiful! The room is equipped with a kitchen and all the cutlery you need. A part from the fridge and kettle, there are also a toaster and a microwave in the room… so it was very easy to make a delicious dinner at the hotel!! There is also a big L-shape sofa and a big tv where you can also watch Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube etc… it was relaxing. The bathroom is huge, there are two sinks, a shower and a bathtub. Best thing for me? It has a Dyson hairdryer! The hotel also offer the possibility to rent a few items. There are so many to chose from but I only chose a few.. such as the coffee maker which was very fun to use and the coffee was delicious! Then I got the record player and a speaker, very cute for photos too. It felt like I was at home! It has all the things you would want on your stay.

I am satisfied with the best accommodations in Japan. I am especially satisfied with the friendliness of the staff.
