"We had the maisonette room with two adults and two children. The space was excellent and lovely, especially since you could read on the lower floor while someone slept upstairs.
The price was very fair (less than half the cost of the nearest hotels), and the service was friendly and uncomplicated."
"I had the suite room. Comes stocked with one time juice, beer, and soda. Every day you get water and coffee replenished. Sofa bed was comfy as was the double bed. Balcony was relaxing. Ask for a change of towels or room cleaning preferably the night before or when you leave in the morning on your excursion so that your room will be how you want ot when you return to it."
"Stayed 7 nights. Business hotel type. Expect minimum service. Full of people in breakfast room everyday. (One staff was particularly rude. One time, she scolded me for bringing the water bottle to my table because my hands were full and was not capable of pouring water.) There was once breakfast was out of order and was diverted to another one. The order was chaotic. No staff to manage the situation. I also had a day with only half housekeeping work. Hotel acknowledged it was their fault but with no immediate action taken until the next day because housekeeping was already gone. There was also fire alarm event happened during my stay while having breakfast. Everyone of us had to go outside until confirmed safety by professionals. Turned out it was due to someone smoking.
Misc:
1. Bathtub water draining stopper always stopping
2. A/C not working. Staff said it will only on from June."
"Shortly after making the booking I contacted the hotel to confirm (I provided my name and the booking number). They told me my booking did not exist and I should check with Trip. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and worry, unfortunately, since we paid upfront. The issue was resolved by Trip very quickly. Late check-in after 10pm was no problem due to their convenient key-safe system (I requested this per Email). Parking in the area was easy enough to find (I believe they also have paid parking available). The carpeting in the room looked rather discoloured and unappealing (no carpet would be better), and the room had a strange, rather unpleasant smell. Kitchenette and fridge were nice extras. A kettle and coffee/tea in the room would be even better. Also, a communal water fountain for drinking would be nice (€2,50 for a small bottle seems a bit steep). The machine with instant coffee is a bonus (€2 perhaps also a bit steep), but there was no milk available on the first morning (only on day 2). The U6 is available from Klinik Großharding which is a short drive away (P+R available for €1.50/day). Overall a good, reasonably priced (except during Oktoberfest for example, when everything is way overpriced) place to stay, with the added convenience of a kitchenette and terrace or balcony. Bathroom was also reasonably sized. Staff were friendly."
"The dust in the room is beyond out of control. Everything you touch has lint from the blankets, bed sheets and the towels. I don't think the cleaners clean their ”lint traps” in the dryer. The poor dryers probably are dying due to not cleaning.
You just have to stick with it with your clothings full of lint and dust.
The breakfast was pretty solid. The reception is absolutely perfect and very kind and on point.
The room itself was a bit on the smaller side but the AC unit was amazing. The whole lint problem was just so irritatin"
"Under normal circumstances, it's understandable to wait till 3pm before one can check in. The bookings made by my staff ************************ for a total of 8 guests from Malaysia from 2 to 8 May where one guest under Dr ************************ could not be present due to the admission of his father to hospital on 1st May and subsequently passed away on 2 May.
************* requested for cancellation and refund from Leonardo Hotels but was told to chanel the request to Trip.com. Upon checking with Trip.com she was informed that Leonardo Hotels had rejected their request for refund. The hotel booking was paid using my credit card under ******.
I tried to request to use the room under Dr ******************* at 7am on 3 May but was rejected.
On 8th May when 7 of the guests were departing at 6pm for their floght at 10pm , I was only allowed to stay until 3pm even though I requestes for extension to 6pm. This is not the point since check out time is 12pm or 2pm at max.
I earnestly hope that the request for cancellation of the reservation for Dr ************************ for 6 nights be refunded.

"OK - the good -
The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby."
"This is a stunning hotel from the beginning, whether it is the texture of the hotel, the cleanliness of the room, and the excellent breakfast, let people leave a deep stay!"
"Excellent! The downstairs beer bar is fantastic; the beer is delicious and offers great value for money. Plus, they can even deliver it to your room, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area."
"Perfect!! Highly recommend!! I’m glad that I cancelled another hotel and booked this one for my stay in Munich! Super friendly staff (all of them! Helped me a lot) nice room spacious for one person, kettle, coffee water provided. Diverse breakfast buffet with good price. Super close to train station to go to the center within 2-3 stops. A review can’t describe all how happy I was with my short stay here! Ah, they also provided hot lemon ginger water in the foyer, appreciate it in the freezing winter days"

Great
TTravellerLMy stay at the Munich Art Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The decor is very stylish and there are many artworks adorning the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to Munich Central Station. It's super easy to get anywhere in the city by train, subway, or tram, which is a real time-saver for travelers. The room rate was very affordable, and the room was cleaned daily, making for a very satisfying overall stay. The guy at the front desk was also really friendly and welcoming; he'd always greet me warmly whenever I came and went, which made me feel right at home. Plus, a free and generous breakfast was offered every morning. All in all, it's a hotel with a great location, reasonable prices, and a warm, personal touch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.
GGuest UserThis was the first hotel of my seven-week trip. It was easy to get to from the airport by bus, and the room was spacious and practical. Even though it was on a high floor, the window was dirty and, for some reason, the external blinds were flimsy. However, the window itself was large, which was nice. But there was one major disappointment. One of the front desk women had such an unhelpful attitude that it made me wonder why she was even working there. I was clearly checking in, and her demeanor made me wonder if she was feeling unwell. I'm sure her colleagues also recognized that her customer service skills were clearly lacking. That was truly a shame. It wasn't even a matter of her just not smiling. It was a disappointing start to my trip.
GGuest UserA hotel with a good location and a fashionable feeling in front of the station. It was good to have a sauna that can even take an outside air bath on the terrace. I happened to be able to stay at a cheap price, so I'm satisfied, but I think it's a little expensive at a normal price ... Well, Germany itself is expensive, so it can't be helped.
GGuest UserThe location was fantastic, very close to the station and within easy reach of the city center. The neighborhood felt very safe, which was a big plus. It was also great to have a supermarket and a coin laundry within walking distance.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. When the hairdryer in the room wasn't working, I went to the front desk and they immediately lent me a spare, which I thought was excellent service.
TTsubaki Akaivery good and clean facilities. the staff are nice and friendly. the area is tidy and feeling safe walking around. Tried breakfast for 2 days and they offer different things on the 2 days and I greatly appreciate that!
GGuest UserAt this hotel, I had trouble using the induction hob because I wasn't familiar with its operation. I contacted Trip.com customer service, and even though it was late and I couldn't cook on the first night, they were very proactive in helping me communicate with the hotel staff. The next day, the hotel staff came and tested it, confirming it was working, and even wrote down the operating instructions for us. I'm really grateful to both Trip.com and the hotel staff. This hotel is very close to the subway, and there are shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient. The room is spacious, and we had no problem opening up two 28-inch suitcases. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils and even includes seasonings.
GGuest UserHotel teams are very kind and ready to respond to your requests.
Food is perfect and delicious.
Hotel is quite new and clean.
Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area.
Hotel is far from train station just 1-2 min walk.
TTravel itinerary 1Let's start with the spa - an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive.
As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep.
The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. The blend of classic elegance and modern amenities created an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere, which I found to be both comfortable and inspiring.
In conclusion, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is a top-tier hotel that truly understands the art of hospitality. The remarkable spa and the unbeatable location in the heart of Munich set it apart as a destination that caters to travelers seeking a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the best of Munich in a luxurious and welcoming setting.
Jj_cdUpon arriving at the hotel in the morning, we dropped off our luggage and went out. We returned at the scheduled check-in time of 2 PM, only to find our room in complete disarray and not yet cleaned. After showing photos to the front desk, they immediately arranged for housekeeping. We had to wait for about an hour for the room to be ready. However, Tsira Patsuria at the front desk handled the situation exceptionally well. She offered us tea and pastries while we waited and apologized, explaining that it was Oktoberfest and there was a high volume of guests checking in. She also kindly waived the charges for the draft beer and the snacks in our room. The hotel is very close to the main train station, making it convenient for getting around. The suite was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty of cheese and salmon, just what I like. I would definitely consider staying here again.
GGuest UserThe service was good, there was free luggage storage, the room facilities were in good condition, the air conditioning was strong, the room was a bit small, but our wallets were also small. Don't go out too late, the surrounding streets don't seem very safe.
