I strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to its extremely poor service and remote location. My experience was so unpleasant and unsettling that I decided to switch to another hotel after just one day.

There was ZERO hot coffee available at 4:30 AM in the lobby.  Thank God for the in-room coffee maker. The meh for clean is due to the floor having a huge strain on the carpet.

We stayed at this hotel near Nellis AFB for two nights. We enjoyed the dedicated parking lot, with close in spaces, the covered entry, and the security patrol. The Room was comfortable, and everything worked. Housekeeping is not offered daily except by request for a stay longer than 1 night. This was fine with us. The hotel is literally across the street from the AFB. During the day, and in the morning, and at dusk, one cannot help but hear the jets. This is the Sound of Freedom, so it was not a problem. Having breakfast included is important to us and one of the things we like about HIE. Breakfast starts at 6:30. There are not a lot of choices nearby in N. Las Vegas. The Swimming Pool and Hot Tub are outdoors, so they were closed, but they were clean. The Business Center has a working computer, but other than boarding passes, I wouldn't use it. We checked on local weather conditions ahead of a severe storm, and the computer posted several warnings about a security problem with the Windows app. I wouldn't use a credit card with this computer. There is a Fitness Center, but it was closed for maintenance. Inside corridors with elevators and luggage carts, which we appreciated, because it is never a good idea to leave anything in your car. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful, but the hotel was not exactly great.  The rooms were ok, but pretty run down.  Lots of missing baseboards and worn, old amenities.  The gym was closed due to water damage (which had also affected our room).  The pool was ”closed for the season” despite calling ahead and being told  it would be open (but it seemed there had been a cold streak, so maybe they weren't expecting that when we called).  The breakfast was rough, lots of things were out (like pancake batter in the machine) or just not very good. We probably wouldn't stay there again.    The location is good with lots of food and other stores nearby.  That was nice.  We did have a large group traveling together and it was good to be able to all be in the same hotel.
