I stayed here for four nights, I didn't stay in the hotel during daytime I only used the room strictly to sleep. I had a positive experience even though there's room for improvement. The room is comfortable for two people, it's clean and the AC works great. Mosquitos were pretty bad everytime we opened the door though. Using the TV remote control got tricky until the staff member showed me how to operate the two remotes. One morning at 6am a group of loud people were in the pool and no one enforced the time rules. When you visit Merida you go to bed late as you attend a lot of the free events until late at night, waking up at 6am with loud noises wasn't nice. Parking is really tricky though, it's either you use their parking garage which it only houses less than 8 cars or find a place somewhere else. The difficult part of the parking situation is that the garage is first come first serve so to get an overnight spot you need to park around 4-5pm and stop driving for the rest of the evening. Or park overnight in a street where cars don't get towed away, that's tricky finding one in the Centro area. If you don't need a car don't rent one, it's a pain unless you figure out where to park. The room was always clean including sheets, pillows and bathroom. It's nothing fancy but comfortable
