SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

AAnonymous UserStumbled upon a Ctrip gem, this B&B was a delightful surprise during my Wuyishan trip. The scenery here is stunning, easily rivaling the Nine-Bend Stream. The owner is incredibly warm and provides excellent service. They even upgraded our room for free, offered complimentary fruit, tea eggs, and health-boosting tea, and the breakfast spread was generous. Their tea factory produces delicious tea, and they even gifted us some when we left. This B&B offers great value for money, especially for someone as particular about cleanliness as I am – I couldn't find a single flaw, even in the nooks and crannies. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe experience of this homestay is great! The location of the Binfenli B&B is excellent, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and the travel is convenient. The room design is unique, the layout is warm and elegant, the facilities are all available and the quality is excellent, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it makes people sleep well all night. The hotel staff is warm and hospitable, the service is thoughtful and intimate, you can feel the warmth of home here, I highly recommend it to everyone, I will choose this homestay next time!

AAnonymous UserI was genuinely surprised by this stay, having no particular expectations going in. The hotel actually upgraded me to a 'Xiaomanlou' room with a balcony, completely unprompted! They even thoughtfully provided laundry detergent in the room, which was incredibly useful for washing and drying clothes – a real lifesaver for anyone staying multiple nights.
On top of that, there were snacks readily available in the room, perfect for when I got a bit peckish; they really hit the spot. The cleanliness was impeccable too, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I had a wonderfully refreshing night's sleep.
The service deserves huge praise! The hotel set up a communication group chat, so whether I had questions or small requests, I'd get a quick response by simply messaging in the group, without needing to make a phone call – super convenient. The biggest surprise was at check-out, when the staff gave me a box of tea as a gift; it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture.
Dining didn't disappoint either; the breakfast spread was extensive, ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted great. Starting the day well-fed and energized made exploring so much better. The entire stay was pure enjoyment, from the room to the service and all the little surprises – everything was on point. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

SSlimWe had a wonderful stay at this picturesque hotel, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Our private villa was beautifully designed, evoking the tranquil ambiance of a Banyan Tree resort. While the villa's secluded location required a buggy ride to reach the lobby, the service was exceptionally quick and attentive.
The hotel's stunning backdrop, set against the majestic Wuyi Mountain, was truly unforgettable. However, to maintain its high standards, some areas of our villa required attention, including the floor tiles, countertop, and tub, which needed refurbishment. Additionally, the living room carpet appeared worn and dirty.
With some focused maintenance, this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations and solidify its reputation as a premier destination.”

Spending quiet moments in the tea lounges, sipping local brews while enjoying the calming decor, was a true highlight of my stay.
One of the standout features of this hotel is the breakfast. Every morning, I was greeted with an impressive variety of dishes — both local specialties and more familiar options — all fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re a fan of savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone, and the attention to quality was evident in every bite.
But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the support the hotel provided in helping me explore the area. They introduced me to a local guide named Spring, and I am so grateful they did. Spring was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Wuyi. Thanks to her, I was able to discover hidden gems, learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region, and gain insights I never would have found on my own. Her guidance added so much depth and meaning to my visit.

The front desk lady was very warm, attentive, and helpful, answering all my questions and even upgrading my room for free. The room was very spacious, clean, and odorless, and the air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. The breakfast was also rich and satisfying! I'll definitely choose Baina Hotel again if I come back to Wuyishan.
