LLuca RougeA little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. Thank you, and see you next time.
GGuest UserThe accommodation is clean and peaceful. The owner is very kind and provides impressive service. It's nestled amidst serene and cool nature, emphasizing the natural surroundings with good air quality.
SScott InglisWe had a pleasant stay at Chaiyapol Homestay, and were met with friendly, welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the start.
The room was spacious, clean, and had a rustic charm, which gave the place a homely feel. However, the beds were very firm, and the walls were incredibly thin, you can hear just about everything from neighbouring rooms, so light sleepers may want to look elsewhere.
The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town, making it easy to explore the area on foot.
One of the biggest drawbacks was the hot water and water pressure. While the hotel does state that hot water isn’t available 24/7, it was barely available in the mornings, and even when it was, the water pressure was extremely low, making showers more of a trickle than a rinse.
Breakfast was also disappointing, with very limited variety and no replenishment, so if you weren’t down early, you didn’t get much.
Overall, it’s a nice local stay with a warm atmosphere and central location, but there are comfort and amenity issues to be aware of before booking.
Aalan118The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room.
