Super good midafternoon break on their terrace mid-week when not too busy. Ramone is back again for another season, and he is a lovely gentleman and attentive server. The crab dip with chips is delicious for $16 and the special burger deal was delicious at only $18 with sweet potatoe fries. Shipyard beers were on HH pricing at $7 and I enjoyed both the IPA and the stout very much. A glass of SB is $14. Lovely views and a delightful afternoon before home on the ferry.

This was a huge disappointment! I was concerned when I tried to contact the Inn prior to our trip to ask questions to be prepared. No answer and when I left a message no return call. I was shocked that it cost almost 200.00 to bring our car. When we arrived we found no one around to assist with checking in. We finally found a phone number to call. Then someone showed up and brought us to our room. Never to be seen again. Then when I went to make a coffee the machine was broken. I found myself hunting for assistance. I had to go into the restaurant. I explained this to the bartender who poured me a cup of coffee when she asked which room I was staying in I told her and her response was yes that coffee maker is broken. Not once did I get customer service to even offer a replacement and then she took the $10 bill. I was thinking well I hope she will give me change. Some time went by then she says oh I guess I shouldn't charge you. Wow for spending the money to get there, pay over 300 for one night with zero customer service I would never go back. I guess if you want to spend $$$ to have an awful experience this is the place. Alan & Julia Henry

I’ll start by saying we had a £1000 jacket stolen by the hotel staff. Over from the UK for a couple of weeks driving round New England. We stayed in some wonderful places, a brilliant beautiful area. Inn on Peaks Island looked like a winner, just off season but a gorgeous looking property on a beautiful island with a great view. We had a lovely night and the next day when checking out to get the ferry we had left a Moncler jacket for a teen and told her to put it on a a bit cool outside. She got in the hire car and we didn’t notice she hadn’t brought it until later that day, now down in Ogunquit. Contacted type hotel immediately and advised we would drive back up. Now this is a tiny hotel, there are not teams of housekeeping, it’s literally one guy. The exchanges we were having, and having to chase for responses, we’re distant “yes we will contact housekeeping” no care for the customer at all. We know where exactly it was in the room but it seems they never found it. Ok I get it was our fault to leave it but never in a chain hotel did I not get my forgotten stuff back. We’ll done to then guy running the front office, it’s a lovely jacket or a teen, got yourself a bargain there. If they will steal our stuff, would you trust them. It’s pretty tired inside anyways, luggage marks all over the walls and doors. Check my reviews, this is my first negative one I think. Only posting because this company cannot be trusted. I’ve save the correspondence in case they can be bothered replying to this. AVOID!

Get off the ferry & there’s Inn on the Peaks just a short walk up the hill! We had such a great view from our porch, watching the ferry & watching the island come to life in the morning. We brought bikes to ride around the island- it’s a beautiful ocean view & stunning houses/gardens. ( or you can rent bikes) We did burger night at the Lions club-a quick walk down the street, it was amazing.( great food & live music)

Well, we went there for dinner and the fellow who greeted us was sufficiently rude that we just decided to go back home for supper. So I can’t review the food. Trip advisor says my review is too short, but I do not have anything more to say about the place

This hotel was very nice. I think we had the nicest room in the hotel. It was huge. Couple sinks in the bathroom, and our room overlooked the dock and business district. The TV could be bigger, but it was a very nice room. The restaurant was closed the day we were there, but we found a place nearby that worked for us. Convenience is fantastic. If staying on the island, make sure you plan your trip around getting on the ferry. Need to be in line at least 30-45 minutes before the ferry leaves, otherwise you might be killing time for a couple hours. It appears the ferry is always completely full with autos. The hotel is very nice.
