AKS Porto Heli Hotel Reviews

The hotel's location is very good. Its one of the few big hotels in the area. It's an old, but we'll maintained hotel. From here you can easily reach everything.

We came to Porto Heli for a convention but the convention hotel was fully booked. AKS was nearby so we chose it. What a pleasant surprise. Very nice, sparkling clean, resort style hotel. Spacious well kept grounds across a small road from the beach. Tastefully decorated common areas. Helpful, courteous staff. Our room had a balcony overlooking the small bay. A good breakfast. I’m reluctant to give 5 stars, but they are deserved. Also, a terrific bargain.

This hotel was an excellent choice for the value. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered many options. The hotel was clean, very helpful staff, has a pool and is across from a beach on Porto Heli bay where all the sailboats are located. It was a 5-10 minute walk to nearby restaurants, super market and gas station if you have a rental car. Parking was free. It was a bit noisy in the evening with cars driving by.

Friendly staff, spacious hotel, nice big rooms...recommendation ! Only live music in the evening lasts until 00:30. Not everyone wants to go to bed that late!

We really enjoyed our stay there. A family with two little children. Hotel room was ok. Clean, had a problem with the AC that was solved but not fast. Besides that the food was excellent the pool bar was also good and the guy responsible there awesome. I wish I could remember his name. All the staff was helpful but this particular one was great. Porto Heli is worth to visit so all in all a good holiday suggestion.

We stayed at this hotel in 2021 too and it was really good, hence why we went back. We booked half board like last time only this time we discovered that the dinner drinks were not included in the price so beware! 5 member family we needed about 30e drinks with our dinner every night and they wouldn’t even give us any water with the food! The buffet was ok but quite average compared to 2 years ago. They said management has changed. It’s obvious the new management was having to do some cuts! Other than that everything was really nice.

There are not many hotels in Porto Heli. this one was very nice however it is extremely family focused! There were many kids at this hotel and the focus was on that…. Overall a good place to stay if you have kids. Not so great for a friends or couples trip.

The hotel overall is beautiful and well kept. The most polite people had been the restaurant staff (always very welcoming), the young Rania and Alexandra who gave me a very nice massage. My room also always very clean.

If you are looking for an hotel where to sleep only after minight or 1 am, this might work. Otherwise, run away. The hotel organizes loud night club music until midnight (actually 1 am today) and this right by the pool in front of the rooms. Impossible to sleep. Meaning the basic function of an hotel is not ensured. We came for resting and this was not possible, this choice of hotel was a big mistake (for the price of 192 eur per night). Now if your objective is to stay awake late at night, this might work for you.

Best four days spent in Aks Porto Heli. Sun, pool, food all amazing. Face and body treatment very professional service from therapist Giannis!!! Looking forward to visit again next year!! Definitely will bring all the family next time and visit the nearby islands!!!!

Beautiful family resort. Very clean. Spectacular views from every room and friendly staff.

The staff was nice, not overly friendly. We checked in and the girl just checked us in. I had to ask for a map and things to do nearby. We didn’t even know the hotel offered a dinner buffet until the next day because we asked about dinner reservations. For some reason this property has huge gaps under in the walls on the outdoor floors. Our toddler bent down right away to look under and could have fallen to his death if we did not grab him. These need to be covered up. There is no reason for these gaps in the walls. There are drains for water. Our room was at the end of the row of hotel rooms and the doors to the rooms have NO LOCKS IN THE INSIDE of the rooms so kids could just open the door and walk out and of course we had another dangerous cutout in the wall just outside our door. We had to stack furniture in front of the door at night. Also, our door handle fell off. It was mostly a stressful trip due to all these weird safety issues at the hotel. Good things: AMAZING food, live music at night, pool bar, room air conditioning was centralized and decent in the evening. Clean. Kids club and playground

The property was nice but room service was not good. The food was bad and was issued a redund.

Love the stay, except for the mosquitoes at dusk and dawn.
