Old Town
The location is particularly good, just beside the market, near the Prague Square, downstairs are a variety of restaurants, bars and convenience stores. However, the hotel may be a long time away. There is an unpleasant smell when pushing the door. Because it is summer, there is no air conditioning in the room, only a small hair dryer, and I am awakened in the middle of the night. If you don't mind these facilities, the location is really good. You can walk around all the sights around Prague Square on foot.

I stayed in the Royal Road Residence with my mom in november. Its amazing location, you can literally get to all main attractions by walking. The old Town Square is just 6 mins walking!!! When you come there is a small sign and you should ring the bell to come inside. Reception is in the 1st floor. The staff were very friendly and caring and offered us some hot drinks. We asked them to give us room with balconu and we were so lucky they still got one! The view was AMAZING!! The only thing it was a little bit noisy during weekend because the crowd never finishes on this street. Breakfast was good, specially fresh waffles with chocolate. We stayed for a week and the cleaning was done twice. I will definately come back to this family residence once I am in Prague.

We originally booked to stay in this hotel in 2020 but due to Covid and lockdown we have had to move our stay 3 times. In this time, my partner and I got married and we finally got to enjoy our stay in this hotel as husband and wife this month. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted wonderfully by the hotel staff and felt very welcomed. Our taxi driver had also complimented the hotel on route too. Our room was comfortable but what made it well worth every penny was having a view over Charles Bridge. The room was also full of character with wooden ceiling beams. We can’t thank the Receptionist Ramona who was so helpful, friendly and ever so welcoming throughout our whole stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble to ask. Thank you Ramona!! The breakfast buffet selection was lovely, fresh and a good selection. Also, on our last morning we had an early train to catch and the hotel provided us with a breakfast picnic of delicious goods to take with us which was so thoughtful! We absolutely loved our stay in Prague at this hotel and would recommend it to others, especially couples. Abbi and Will

Nové Město
A good hotel, I feel that the service is a bit cold. I am given a room with a skylight. This skylight is very high. I can’t reach one meter and seven. To open this window and pull the curtains, I have to use a pole. The second time was an uncle waiter to help me get it (he said that he would call him again in the future, this praise is very good), but I think it is very troublesome to call people to open the door every time. Later I learned each time. a sweat

Nové Město
Chose this hotel due to the location, easy walk to sights, shops, restaurants and for the value it represented. Reception staff were polite and helpful on arrival and the whole place was very stylish. Room was a good size, very modern and very clean. Bed was comfortable and aircon/heating was quiet providing a great nights sleep. Loved having extras such as robes/slippers in the room. Minor thing would be lack of storage with only one drawer and very small hanging space. Breakfast had good selection on offer, something to suit most people. Staff, although efficient, could speak to guests. No-one spoke to us on any of the 3 days we had breakfast, not even to explain things on the first morning. Also a shame about the lobby bar. No one uses it as is not staffed, just there if you ask at reception I think. Also bright lights and no atmosphere so hardly enticing. However none of these little things would stop me recommending this hotel.

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂
