Apartment-type rooms have kitchen equipment The room type is large compared to other hotels. There are restaurants and supermarkets around. It is very convenient to take the airport bus and the Blue Lake bus. The city is concentrated in such a place. Trip.com booked a standard suite can live three people. When booking, two and three people have the same room rate, so it is convenient to fill two people. As a result, I went to the hotel and was charged 60 euros. I thought that if I fill one person, I would have to pay 120 euros more? Everyone can pay attention to this, communicate in advance to avoid unnecessary losses. More suitable for travelers who need to cook, if the oyster is not recommended for a short stay, staying at an ordinary hotel is more cost-effective.

Stayed here for a week in March - hotel in central location in walking distance to restaurants and city’s sightseeing. From Checkin to checkout all was smooth rooms are very well sized with views over the harbour. Our only problem was the room was cold with the thermostat not working very well so we were given an electric heater. Breakfast and Dinner was good quality and the small deli a nice touch. Staff were helpful and concierge organised all of our tours which were perfect -also a nice end to the holiday the northern lights were seen from outside the hotel lobby.

We stayed for 3 nights, hotel is at a perfect location close to restaurants. 5mins to harbour and 15mins to church. Taxi available right in front. Breakfast was great with good spread. Staff replenishes quickly. Front reception are okay. Two things I would like to honestly comment: - due to weather conditions, roads were close and we nearly couldn’t make it to check in, hotel did not give any flexibility of cancellation understanding the conditions. I don’t think it’s fair. They still wanna charge us. - after check in the room, toilet bin are not clean with sanitary pad found and floor hasn’t been clean with some food flakes on the ground too.

We stayed here a couple of nights in early September for a pre-cruise stay. Clean, comfortable (we opted for the slightly larger room) and a great location near the waterfront area and walking distance to the old town part of Reykjavit. They accommodated an early arrival due to our flight schedule, which was appreciated. There is a connected cafe and coffee bar which was very convenient. There are some off-site parking garages (rented a car) which are OK, but a little expensive and if it is raining, not real convenient. They said they had storage lockers, but because they provided an early check-in, we did not need them, so I am not sure if they are on-site or not - if they are the ones in the parking structure, they are definitely not sufficient. Although we do not see us returning soon, if we did, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a week at this hotel? It is perfectly located. Out room as a good size and even had a bath. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant and breakfast is not available but there are many place within a very short walk at which to eat. I would recommend it.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Reykjavik Centrum during my trip to Iceland and I have mixed feelings about my experience. Overall, I would rate this hotel as average, earning 3 out of 5 stars on TripAdvisor. On the positive side, the location of the hotel is fantastic. It's located right in the heart of Reykjavik, with easy access to all the city's top attractions and restaurants. This made it very convenient for me to explore the city on foot, without having to worry about transportation. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with any questions or requests. However, the room itself was a bit of a disappointment. While it was clean and well-maintained, it felt quite small and outdated. The bathroom was also quite small, with a tiny shower that was difficult to use comfortably. Another issue was the Wi-Fi. Once we got into the room there was hardly any Wi-Fi signal except right at the door. We asked Alexandra for assistance we rest assure she made arrangements for another room that had good Wi-Fi signal and help unlock our safe after our excursion. Kudos! Overall, while the Hotel Reykjavik Centrum is a decent option for travelers who prioritize location over luxury, there were some areas where it fell short. If you're looking for a basic, no-frills hotel in the heart of Reykjavik, this might be a good choice for you, but if you're looking for a more comfortable and spacious room, you may want to consider other options.

This hotel is the perfect location for a visit to Reykjavik. The main shopping street and many restaurants are within walking distance, as well as the old wharf where the whale watching ships are located. The staff was great, the coffee house excellent. Make sure to get a superior room; the second time we stayed we were not given that type of room and it was smaller and on the noisier side of the hotel. On the weekends, the bars close at 4:30 am, so there is much partying going on!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. I like breakfast very much. There is salmon. We have prepared new rooms and decorated them as hotel rooms. The style is simple and generous. Iceland is really beautiful. The paradise is wonderful. The air is great. Iceland has never committed it. We will choose this hotel next time. The public transportation is also very convenient. Free travel is highly recommended.

My best friend and I stayed at Kvosin in September 2022 and couldn't be happier with our choice. The room was spacious, the beds were so comfy, the staff was kind and helpful, and the hotel couldn't be more conveniently located to everything. Prior reviews mentioned the nearby church bells being an annoyance but they weren't at all in our case. We hardly noticed. I can't imagine there being a better hotel option in Iceland.

I spent last weekend at Butterfly Guesthouse. Again. It’s always easy to choose Butterfly Guesthouse, I am guaranteed friendly professional service, a really clean house, great location and friendly greetings from Jon, the owner. Since my first visit, I’ve always been happy to return. I’ve stayed in several of the rooms, and they’re all comfortable and very clean. Did I say that it was clean? And I’m pretty fussy. This time it was the weekend of the marathon and culture night. I was bringing a friend, who usually stays in high-end hotels. She was really happy with Butterfly Guesthouse. And she raved about how close it was to everything. I could’ve said ‘I told you so’ but instead I was just happy to share my discovery with her. We went to so many things nearby: Harpa three times and whenever we needed to pop by for something or return for a short break, Butterfly Guesthouse with nearby. I was sad to leave, Iceland is beginning to feel like home, and Butterfly Guesthouse is part of that.
