The hotel is located in a forest-covered seaside town, and the surrounding area is quiet and comfortable. The room is very large and comfortable, with a terrace and a beautiful sunset view. The breakfast buffet is very good, and the hotel brand and facilities are much higher than four-star standards, close to five-star standards. It feels a bit like a hotel in Sanya, Hainan.

We had a lovely stay at the H10 Mediterranean hotel in Cap Salou. The staff were friendly and approachable, the facilities were clean and inviting and the food was fantastic and well presented. We did half board for the week and found there to be plenty of variety and options at breakfast and dinner. Allergies were well catered for, with plenty of gluten free options. At breakfast I was provided with a separate plate of gluten free breads and cakes. We also were given a tour around the buffet by the chef so we knew what to avoid for allergies. At dinner, I was also given separate puddings that were delicious. Shout out to Victor for being so helpful and accommodating. We identified a few things that might improve the experience: -implement a one way system around the buffet to avoid people crashing into one another - supervision of the ice cream. Maybe one of the chefs could assist with scooping out the ice cream. There was a few incidents where children were scoping their own and it got messy. This would also help avoid cross contamination. -dinner starts at 18:45 which feels quite late for some families. A slightly earlier start would be good, especially if wanting to explore Salou in the evening after dinner. Overall we had a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Thank you.

We arrived yesterday 31st May 2024 with our grown disabled son. We were told by Tui aftr they had changed the flight times we would be met by the rep and given access to our room. Nope had to wait until 3pm. So up from 3am check in 4 am fly 6.30 am into hotel 10.30am spanish time. We had to meet his personal care needs on a toilet floor. Went for a walk in the non accessible area with a wheelchair OMG he nearly fell out the hills are massive and the paths have obstructions. If you were to loose you stepping you couldn't hold a wheelchair. Got back in the hotel 2.45 pm I was sick and desparatley needed a change of clothes shower and rest. Finaly got to our 4 star 2 bedroom apartment to see this! To be fair we have had 4 cleaners and a cleaning supervisor try to tackle the stained toilet. Didn't want to use it but other option the bidet! Lovely views from balcony and no sun all day.

The Mini Club and Entertainments staff were superb, so good at keeping the kids entertained and they couldn’t wait to go back every day and afternoon. The Daisy Disco was good and the shows every evening were excellent. Kids only want to come back here next year.

We stayed at this hotel for 11 days, The location of the hotel wasn’t good for families that have prams as there are alot of hills outside the hotel so you can’t go for walks because the hills are steep. there is a bus stop and taxi rank outside the hotel that brings you into the centre of salou which is around 10 minutes away, there was a wide variety of breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day and it was ok quality. the entertainment in the hotel isn’t great although the staff work hard day and night you’ll see the same faces all the time they don’t get much of a break, The beds in the hotel rooms only get changed every 4 days which isn’t enough and we only got told this when we arrived. the air conditioning in the rooms also didn’t work properly and only came on some of the days during our stay the rooms get really warm at nights if its not on. There are hardly any English channels on the tv’s in the rooms. we had really uncomfortable sleep at night because of the mattresses on the beds we woke up with back aches everyday. The best part about the hotel was the small kids swimmings area as it was well surrounded with steel fencing and electric gates that you had to swipe a band to get in and out so we could relax better knowing the kids couldn’t get out of the area.

Starting with our check in where they explain everything and continue with the bar staff who were really helpfull and smily, but what really made our hollidays were the animation team who help us all the time and keep us entrertain all day. Special mention to the chief entertainment who had a really had job trying to please everyone at night time. Well done!

First Family holiday abroad with the kids, 5, 7 and 9. This place was fantastic from start to finish. Really clean really friendly staff and plenty to keep the kids entertained. The water park and the football pitch made our holiday everyone was happy. Kids already asking can they go back next year. We stayed in 1 bedroom self catering apartment which was ideal for the 5 of us. I would recommend this hotel for family’s. We couldn’t have asked for more.

A great family holiday from start to finish, we have 3 sons, ages 6 and twins who are 5, perfect hotel and facilities for us all. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony over looking the pool which is plenty big enough for a family of 5, with two beds in the living room and en extra pull out bed. Our room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The bar caters for all with good prices, restaurants during the day for hot dogs burgers, nuggets chips ect, and an ice cream cart which again is reasonably priced. The buffet restaurant for evening meal is also a great selection for all. Kids activities during the day and entertainment into the night till about 11pm. Hotel and bar staff very polite and happy to help at any given time Very good location with a variety of bars and restaurants down the road, or if you want to go into the town of Salou there is a bus customer service office at the bottom of the drive way; which allows you to purchase a bus pass that gives you 10 trips for €10, once you've used the 10 Trips it's only €6 to top it up to another 10. We made great memories as a family and the hotel and staff were a big part of that. We will certainly be booking to go again next year.

As an H10 club member I have to say this hotel was the worse H10 hotel I stayed in . While the staff were lovely there were many disappointing things . The entertainment was absolutely awful and amateurish!!!!!!! It was nearly always a group of the young entertainment staff playing silly games and dancing and dancing ! The cocktails were not made fresh by the bar staff but produced from a room behind the bar . Rooms were average and the food was reasonable . The so called adult only pool was full of kids ! I wouldn’t stay here again

H10 Mediterranean Village exceeded our expectations. We had a one-bedroom apartment for 3 adults. The kitchen contained a fridge (no freezer compartment, but not a major issue for us). It also had cooking rings, microwave and an array of useful utensils. We didn’t use these though as we were half board. Also provided was a very handy small washing up kit with liquid, sponge and cloth, and a tea towel. The bathroom was spacious with a long surface beside the sink, so we could all unpack our toiletries. It had a wonderful, powerful shower, and hair conditioner was provided alongside the shampoo and shower gel (which is unusual in my experience). There was plenty of wardrobe space in the bedroom, with enough room to also stow the suitcases. My big disappointment was that the mattress was too hard. We couldn’t work out the safe (provided free of charge) for the first couple of days, but eventually managed it! (Written instructions would be useful.) The balcony was the best and biggest we’ve had. It overlooked a quiet back access street (no traffic) and a forest of pine trees. It was very peaceful but a bit cool as it didn’t get the sun. An airer was supplied and a table, but only 2 chairs. We asked for another chair but were told that only 2 are allowed per balcony. I think they should supply the number of chairs for the number of occupants. The wristbands are a fabulous idea. They serve as the key to the room and you can also top them up with money to buy drinks and snacks, saving the worry of having to carry keys/cash/credit cards when you’re at the pool. There were plenty of loungers by the pools, although it was the beginning of the season so it might be busier in peak season. They are a bit short in leg room though when the headrest is at maximum height. The outdoor pools were freezing, so the best way to get in is to jump straight in – like ripping off a plaster – and it doesn’t take long to acclimatise. Very refreshing and cooling! The onsite shop is small, so not a huge selection, but has many essentials and quite reasonably priced. The food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious and well presented. Fresh, plentiful and a wide variety. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel is lovely and clean. The best tip I got before I went was to buy a Bus Plana Carta. It’s 10 Euros for a card that gives you 10 bus journeys. You just tap the machine beside the driver (one tap per person) and take a ticket. If you need to top it up with another 10 journeys it then only costs 6.10 Euros. For instance, 1 journey can be from Cap Salou to Cambrils, or Salou, or Tarragona. I would recommend H10 Mediterranean Village and would definitely stay here again. (Have gone for 4 stars because of the mattress, number of chairs on balcony, and short sun loungers!)

Really clean hotel, and friendly staff. Nothings too much bother for them. They excel in perfection. The apartments and rooms are cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard. Outside areas are all clean and child friendly. Great location and bus stops into salou are situated right outside the hotel

We are just home after a week in H10 Mediterranean Village. We had such a great stay in a one bedroom apartment on the 6th floor of block B. The apartment was much bigger than anticipated and with 2 beds in the living room space we still had plenty of room. We have older kids so the 6th floor was ideal for us, if they had of been smaller I would have been nervous of the balcony but both sliding doors to it had little catches high up to lock the door. Once both sliding doors were shut the aircon would activate - handy to do this while you are out for the day leaving the room to cool down. The complex has 2 big outdoor pools, the pirate ship one with slides is not heated, and the other one is. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pools and the lifeguards do a great job of letting the kids have fun but also keeping them safe. There is a little supermarket on site with the kids loved going to get snacks in. For fresh bread the hotel next door has a Carrefore which was handy and for cheaper/more variety of food a 400m walk down into Cap Font there is a Michalangelo Supermercat. The bay at Cap Font was also our favourite beach for swimming at. Plus the variety of restaurants and a pharmacy was a great bonus. The entertainment team at the hotel were incredible...they worked so hard all day to ensure there were things for everyone to do, mine wouldnt go to kids clubs but would join in with the activities throughout the day. The evening emtertainment was varied and 5 of 7 nights we watched it. The staff in general at the hotel were very friendly and helpful from housekeeping to the bar/wait staff and the team at reception. The location of the hotel was outside main Salou, this was ideal for us but it was a good 45mins walk along the costal route (steep in places) to the port in Salou. There is a bus stop outside the hotel which takes 10 mins into heart salou and the Reus bus via Salou will drop you near the markets on a Monday. Get a bus card from Bus Plana just outside the hotel as €10 to purchase one gets you 10 one way journeys and as a family of 4 you can tap it 4 times, then to top it up is €6.30. You can travel the full distance of the bus route for 1 tap or €2.10 cash. We visited Cambrils and Tarragona via bus from the hotel which was so handy as they run every 30mins. We really liked the hotels location. Plus the view from our 6th floor apartment was unreal. Would highly recommend to families looking for a less busy spot than main town Salou!

Just returned home after a week staying at H10 Mediterranean Village. We arrived at the hotel at 9.15am and was told we could only check into the room at 3pm. This was a very long wait, especially when travelling with children. The main areas of the hotel are immaculate and clean. The pool areas, especially the splash park are fantastic for the little ones. We stayed half board, the food was some of the best we’ve had in any other hotel, even two fussy children ate at every meal. The area around the hotel is very quiet, a good half hour walk into Salou, that was fine for us but may not suit people who like to be in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Rooms were tidied each day, new towels and beds made but not so much cleaned. The floors remained a little dirty, mainly sand not swept up, slightly annoying after a shower to get sand stuck to you once again. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Such a great hotel for young families! From check in to the bars to the restaurants, the team were all very friendly & helpful. We stayed in a two bed apartment with a lovely big balcony overlooking the new Splash Park & lots of greenery. The balcony was high enough that we felt that the kids were really safe. The apartment had loads of space for us all, with a generous sized bed in the main bedroom. The rooms were pretty clean but we did find a cigarette butt out on our balcony when we arrived & there was bits of food & dirt under the couches & beds. There was also a dirty glass in the cupboard in the kitchen when we arrived. The pools were amazing! Loads of variety depending on age! We didn’t put our kids into the kids club but each day there was some form of entertainment or activity down by the pool for all to enjoy. There’s a small indoor play area which is great too. Every night there was a mini disco & again different forms of entertainment for kids & parents to enjoy. The music goes on every night until 11.30pm which can be heard no matter what part of the resort you’re staying in - pool views would be very loud. Just something to consider if you’ve a young child going to bed a bit earlier. The food in the Pizzeria is delicious & by far the nicest place to eat in the hotel. But it closed at 4.30pm, as did the terrace bar meaning that the only dinner option was the buffet. I would have expected an al e cart restaurant as an option in a 4* hotel. We didn’t have food included in our stay but went to the buffet on the first night since we arrived late. Very expensive if it’s not included & absolutely not worth the price. But a huge variety. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to a lovely little bar call Pancho’s which does lovely tapas. And it’s a 5 minute walk to Cap Salou village which has 6+ restaurants. While the hotel itself was lovely there were a few areas that were a little shabby - e.g wallpaper missing off the walls in the toilets near the lobby. I also think that given that it’s a resort geared towards kids that there should be a designated smoking area. But overall I would highly recommend it & would definitely go back
