A lovely complex in a Canarian style with a big heated pool and a bar in the middle of it. Very nice service, at the bar as well as reception. The rooms and furniture are a little outdated but if you don’t mind, it’s a good old-fashioned quality with fits well with the style of the complex. A small parking lot by the hotel plus possibilities to park on nextdoor street. A short walk from brand new promenade by the sea. Recommended!

Due to work being carried out on the apartment directly above and next door during the whole duration of our stay it was very unpleasant. Frequent loud noise, dust and workman walking past the small terrace, and having to walk past this to get in and out the apartment doesn't provide anything like a relaxing environment. I thought they had to let people know before they arrived at the resort, on booking it said construction work 600m but outside their control. In our case it was 600m and definiley within their cotrol.

We spent a week based at the Fairways. It had everything we needed in a central location. Helpful and polite staff with a well managed, secure and maintained environment. Room was clean, well equipped and spacious. Some furniture was a little dated but it was functional. It is a great resort for those looking for a quieter location, who are able to travel around the island to see the sights and attractions. It has great local cliff edge and cove walks, shops, harbour and restaurants within a comfortable walking distance. We weren't their to play golf, but for anyone who does this would be even more ideal.

Ideal for golfers with two nearby courses. Fairways is fairly quiet outside of school holidays, has an excellent underused resteraunt. Nice if getting dated accomodation, quiet, when no maintenance is being done. No washing machine in our unit, so had to hand wash. Golf del Sur is a quiet resort with not many resteraunts or bars, two Irish bars are worth a visit and and excellent 19th Hole resteraunt 200m up the road from Fairways

This was our second stay at Fairways. Although not a new resort it has been well maintained and has superb onsite facilities such as the pool and on site restaurant and bar.

Overall this was great place and we would definitely come back. When we first arrived (in the middle of the night) I would say I was a little concerned on first impressions, the apartment was large but very dated, I’d say 1970s or 80s, the coloured bed throws and blankets always give me the willies, a little mould in the bathrooms where it’s quite old. When we woke up in the morning and had a full Day round the pool my impression changed and at the end of the holiday I’d say I was converted and would definitely come back. Key things to note for me were, easy access to food and drinks around the pool, the pools were heated which meant no moaning from the kids, the baby pool was actually quite toasty, the apartment had a separate room for the kids and separate bathroom, well equipped if you did want to cook, the kitchen was very clean. White towels and white under sheets on the beds. bit of a walk to the bus routes but we got a mix of buses and taxi to Siam park, the monkey zoo, the beach at el menaro (which was great for the young kids). 30 min taxi to los Christians and adeje. We took a small self drive boat out for a few hours, All in all a great base for our holiday.

I always love going back to Fairways. The staff are all so pleasant and go out of their way to make our holiday enjoyable. Particulary loved the restaurant where the chef came out to chat and check that evrything was cooked to our liking. The new pool bar is really good as well. Can't wait till next time1

This was our second visit to Fairways Club. We went for 21 days, mid September to early October. This late in the year temperatures still rise to 35°C with a couple of short showers of rain. On the first visit we stayed in a standard two bedroom ground floor apartment with the bedrooms on a second floor and which at that time (2019) did not have air conditioning. That however may have changed. This time we were in a ground floor two bedroom elite apartment with the bedrooms also on the ground floor. It had a good quality air conditioning unit in the living area and the master double bedded bedroom but the second twin bedded bedroom only had a ceiling fan and no air conditioning. To get some air flow we had to sleep with the window open which let in various bugs and air at the outside temperature. It was really quite warm and muggy to sleep in. We are all disabled in one way or another and it has to be said that Fairways Club is not really set up for disabled visitors, a fact that they admit to. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to find them act quickly on some issues which included supplying second mattresses to raise the low beds to enable us to get out of them. With our severely arthritic knees, rising from a low bed is difficult and painful. Fairways Club staff moved mountains to assist in solving this problem. There are also no porterage facilities onsite and you have to drag your luggage to your apartment. However, we arrived late evening after reception had closed and the night security guard assisted us with our luggage which was not part of his job. Thank you sir. Food and drink. There is a pool bar, las Islas, open until 5.30 pm which serves reasonably priced drinks, English breakfasts and beef/hamburgers until 12.00 pm and other tapas style snacks. This is run by British expats Peter and his wife India, a lovely friendly couple who also run the evening opening La Mesa onsite restaurant serving good quality food at a reasonable price. Main course and drinks cost approximately €55 for three people. My favourites were the excellent fish and chips and the biggest bowl of Mussels in a delicious sauce that you ever did see ! The restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Carhire. There is an on-site car hire business offering medium size family cars. The fleet is up to around 5 years old. We did not intend to rent a car initially but to be honest you need one here as shops and restaurants are a longish walk. We started with a medium size Chevrolet 5 seater but the aircon wasn’t working so we had to change to a Daewoo Stepway. The company include your transfer to Tenerife South airport for your homeward departure. You have to pay an extra €150 for zero excess insurance. If I was to go to Tenerife again I would rent a car from the airport using the company Autoreisen. They have mostly 1-2 year old cars, rental fee is cheaper than Hertz and Avis and the rental feeincludes a zero excess insurance. There is no extra charge for airport rental if

Our first visit to Fairways Club for a weeks stay. On arrival our allocated ground floor apartment was far from the elite one we had booked and appeared very run down including the balcony. However, reception was very helpful and allocated us another room on the first floor and this was certainly an improvement of the one downstairs. As stated in other reviews the place looks tired and in need of an uplift. There were some cracked/broken tiles around the walkways and some of the sunbeds looked worn. Reception was only open 09:30-17:30hrs. On the plus side the pool bar was good value & we had a takeaway pizza meal from the restaurant and that was good too.

We arrived late due to flight delayed. Staff managed to tussle up some pizza for us which was greatly appreciated. Our Apartment was very nice , spacious and clean. Our reception lady called Carla was very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us getting taxis and sorting out bus routes. The pool area was also very clean. The pool bar did a good range of snacks and drinks. The local bus service is very cheap and you can get to most places via bus. Made a couple of trips into Los Christianos during our stay. Also made a visit to San Miguel de Abona to see a local Canarian festival which was brilliant. The local people were very friendly.

RCI exchange we were give a great room 734 at the top great views from front and back. Clean apartment but the furniture is old little shabby needs upgrading. Apartment has everything from fridge microwave coffee machine iron board and lovely balcony. Rooms cleaned Monday change the bed sheets and new towels. Also towels changed Wednesday and Friday. Nice swimming pool. Pool bar has happy hour 3-4. Serves good breakfast but can get expensive. Great staff there Peter, India, Laura and others. Service is very good. Restaurant La masa has happy hour from 6-7pm. The restaurant is not open Sunday and Monday. We didn’t try the food. Pizza takeaway is good but ask for extra topping around 12 euros. BBQ night Wednesday around 18.95 euros although we didn’t try it. Advise taking a 10min walk to Coviron supermarket as they open 8am and server fresh hot bread croissants etc very cheap. There is a supermarket opposite the resort I don’t think it’s that great. Pancake cafe is 12 to 15 mins walk. Behind the big hotel. Massive pancakes with strawberry banana kiwi delicious. Worth going once. Car is needed to explore other places. There used to be a car hire company Amarilla car company contact the resort for more information. If the apartment upgrade the furniture I would have give it a five rating. Restaurant staff Amelia and Aimee were great!

Well placed, but looking tired. Very old and poorly stocked supermarket nearby but I believe this is due to close soon. No info in the apartment on local restaurants or supermarkets.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Fairways Club. This is the second time we have stayed in Golf del Sur. It is quieter than Los Cristianos and very relaxing. The staff at the resort are friendly and helpful. Our apartment was well appointed and in a good location for parking and the pool. Drinks served at the pool were appreciated. There are good local restaurants. We liked the 19th Hole restaurant. As golfers it was nice to look over one of the holes of the Amarilla course, which we played. and see golfers play the hole. Christie's restaurant is nearby and good for a meal. If you like Caribbean food try Bibo at San Blas. I would come to Fairways again!
