House Sandra

We stayed at House Sandra for just one night before traveling to Hvar Island. The room and facilities were really good. Apart from the table and chairs in the apartment there was also a table and chairs at the top of the stone stairs before going into the rooms. Nice for sitting having a bottle of wine in the quiet stone back street only 10 mins walk with your bags from the port and airport shuttle bus. We pulled our bag up a bit of an incline to the rooms but its easy enough...a little bit more of a struggle up the stone steps but our fault for bringing a heavy bag. We didnt make any meals but everything was there to do so - we ate at Villa Diane which was recommended to us and reallt lovely (reasonabley priced stone oven pizza) by the owner of House Sandra and was in the next street. Communication by the owner was excellent and esponses quick. The owner offers a taxi service too from the airport. All in all we were very pleased. Thank you!

House Sandra was Lovely. We would definitely book and stay again.

That hotel was quite nice since the location was good to access beach and central city. Also, staff was polite and kindness. I think I'd like to book here again when we visit Splite again.

The stay was very good. Clean room and very central location, close to the old town and bus station. They could improve the amenities in the room, in particular due to the amount paid per night.

We paid €35 for an airport pick-up by Marko who runs the establishment with his family. The ride took abt half an hour n we had time to chat w Marko who was very knowledgeable n offered useful info to use. Upon arrival at property, we were a bit disappointed with our room. It seemed smaller then on the pictures. When we used their little crockery provided, we were shocked that there were plates on the top shelf in the cupboard which were not washed ! Meaning the housekeeping staff didnt even clean the place or ensured that the next guests in had properly cleaned stuff. There wasn't much space in the room n the ac was likely an inverter which made noises throughout the nite. We had requested to Marko for a drop off to the bus station which was a 4 mins drive away which he declined citing an airport pick up on the same morning as our request. We then asked for help in ordering an Uber ride n we make payment directly to driver for issues of pick up n drop off points. He declined again which really disappointed us. We finally had to asked for help fm the waitress in the cafe near the property which she willingly helped.

Excellent place to stay, short walk to riva and the palace area. Bakery n convenience store nearby. Room is very clean n spacious. Walking distance from the main bus stop in split.

The location is very good with steps into the main town center and port. The room is big and nice. Value for money. Excellent!

Marko was an excellent host and provided a ride to and from the airport.
