I stayed with a friend. From the time I made inquiries before staying, the hostess was very friendly and had high expectations. As a result, our stay exceeded our expectations. Just like before my stay, everyone at the inn, including the landlady, was very kind. I have stayed at many accommodations both domestically and internationally, but I have never experienced such a comfortable stay. It was at a level where I wanted to stay for several days in a row. Dinner was a full course of rainbow trout, and the taste was exquisite. It was so good that I had to replace the rice. The bath was drawn directly from Sarukura Onsen, so it was quite hot. However, it can be adjusted with water, so there is no need to worry about the heat. There are separate baths for men and women, and there is no open-air bath, only an indoor bath. You can take a bath 24 hours a day. The shampoo was Merit (rinse-in), and the body soap was provided with Bouncia. Hair dryers, cotton swabs, etc. were provided in the changing room. Smoking was allowed in the room, which was helpful for us smokers. Although the toilets are shared, they are the latest Western-style toilets and were very clean. Parking is also free and advance reservations are not required. There is also free wifi in the hotel. Please note that there is no convenience store in the immediate vicinity of the inn. The nearest convenience store will probably be Lawson, which is about a 20 minute drive away. By the way, early morning tours of Tsutanuma (currently) require advance reservations. It takes about 15 minutes by car from the inn to Tsutanuma, making it ideal for visiting Tsutanuma. The only thing that really bothered me was that the walls in the room were a little thin. There was an elderly couple staying in the room next door, but perhaps because they are hard of hearing, we could hear the TV all night long, so we had no choice but to sleep with earplugs in. This is just an unavoidable problem. I don't often have the opportunity to go to Towada, but this is one of the inns I would like to stay in again when I visit again.
