The weather was absolutely perfect when I arrived, so I spontaneously decided to upgrade to a room on the third floor. In Yunnan, where temperatures vary greatly between day and night, it was incredible not to have to brave the cold morning air to see the sunrise. Instead, I could just lie in my room and watch the 'sun-kissed golden mountains' through the floor-to-ceiling windows – it was truly a wonderful feeling! The room itself was beautiful, spotless, and tidy. The central air conditioning kept it consistently warm like spring, and the facilities were well-appointed with thoughtful touches everywhere. I've already recommended it to friends; it's genuinely worth a visit!

About a 20-minute drive from the Yulong Snow Mountain Visitor Center, our room offered direct views of the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' – absolutely stunning! We had a dedicated butler service that was very responsive and fulfilled all our requests. The day before our trip up the snow mountain, the butler even arranged for a hot breakfast, suggesting it would be better for us – super thoughtful! There was also a complimentary afternoon tea and free beverages. On check-out day, they even gave us a souvenir. The hotel's scenery is truly beautiful; you can take amazing photos anywhere. We were very satisfied with our stay. The only minor issue was that our floor had two suites, separated by a balcony in the middle, and we each had our own staircase. Since our floor was the highest, some guests from other floors would occasionally come up to take photos. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows facing the hallway, which could be a bit awkward if you weren't paying attention. Other than that, everything was great – very satisfied!

A hotel I didn't want to leave! Comfortable and cozy. All the staff at the hotel were incredibly warm and friendly. The restaurant's à la carte dishes were delicious. Coffee in the lobby was complimentary. Afternoon tea was also generously provided. The room amenities created a homely warmth. The underfloor heating was so comfortable; after cleaning up, you could just sit on the floor and enjoy afternoon tea or practice yoga. I stayed for two nights and wanted to extend my stay! I really didn't want to leave, haha. The avenue in front of the hotel leads directly to the snow-capped mountains. Perfect for hiking, walking through fields, and visiting the villages.

And at night, the bright starry sky shines overhead, like a brilliant gem set in the sky. You can lie in the courtyard, look up at the starry sky, feel the vastness of the universe, or taste the tranquility and beauty under the starry sky. The design of a standalone courtyard isolates the hustle and bustle, offering a magnificent view of the golden mountains of Rizhao through the window. At night, one can lie down and admire the Milky Way, truly realizing the secret experience of "sleeping with the snow capped mountains".

Oye Sanqiu Hotel is absolutely the best hotel I've ever stayed at! The staff are so warm and attentive, like friends I've known for ages. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to Baisha Old Town. Plus, they offer complimentary pick-up/drop-off within a 3km radius, making getting around completely stress-free. The hotel's scenery is breathtaking, with a huge lawn and Yulong Snow Mountain right before your eyes. One evening, a staff member noticed I was thinly dressed and kindly reminded me to put on more layers – that thoughtfulness truly touched me. The rooms are comfortable and tidy, with complete amenities. Here, beauty and warmth coexist. Its service easily rivals, if not surpasses, that of a five-star hotel. I'll definitely be back to enjoy this unique and wonderful experience!

This is an excellent place to stay for anyone looking to unwind and catch the sunrise. It is approximately 15 minutes from the key sunrise (日照金山) viewing spots and about 30 minutes from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). The location offers a thoughtful balance of convenience and tranquillity. Ride-hailing via DIDI is straightforward (there’s always a ride confirmed within a few seconds), and Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇) is less than a 10-minute walk away. For those planning to visit Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) and Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城), they are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Yundu (云渡) is well-situated for both nature excursions and easy access to the surrounding towns. The service is excellent—my room was consistently cleaned while I was at breakfast—and other meals (lunch/dinner) can be ordered from the kitchen at very reasonable prices. One of the highlights of my stay, however, was returning each day to their seven-month-old Samoyed, who is friendly and playful whenever he is not entertaining other guests. I initially planned to stay four nights but extended to seven because of the cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and daily playtime with Sanjin (三斤). You can also ask the front desk or message them on WeChat anytime—everyone there is so friendly and helpful. One day, they even surprised me with a bun from Henan, which was such a sweet touch.
