Hotel with good structure, overlooking the Marina (no beach access). Unfortunately the pool was closed and they gave the option to use the spa pool.

If you are not careful, extra costs will be charged at the reception. And the reception staff were not totally friendly

I personally think it's very average!

I liked the food very much,breakfast was always fresh,tasty and well presented, The swimming pool was the best. special thanks to Rahma ooh such a beautiful soul and always ready to help when i felt a little sick- many thanks to Zubeir.. I recommend this hotel , i hope the Spa will be open when i come next coz it looks beautiful,,, the gym was amazing- ooh i cld write all day but your place is just amazing al round- greenest hotel in Zanzibar in deed. Keep on and thank you Rahma

Great service from staff. Stayed at Verde for 4 days and the entire experience was genuinely like nothing I have experienced before in my life. Watching the sunset from a balcony with a view of the docked ships and boats was a particular highlight as was swimming in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. As for waiting staff, Leticia and Hidaya in particular were very helpful.

Wonderful place— Near Airport.. Staff is so good..So Friendly.. I liked this place.. Rooms are spacious.. Garden is beautifully decorated.. But I couldn’t see any beach in the hotel or any door to the beach.. It has sea and hotel selected in a wonderful place but wasted beach with unnecessary harbor.. I saw Very less guests and every activity u need to pay extra.. I joined barbecue buffet; salads were very delicious, fruits wonderful but barbecue! I believe this place designed and constructed by very skillful guys but now administered very weak-or lack of motivation.. I asked breakfast with fried eggs in butter and many vegetables but received Omlette with vegetables and butter in a plate.. i couldn’t eat and nobody listened my complain so i advise try restaurant. Anyway; i liked the staff.. Thx to all..

They was great . Especially resepcionist guy Aziz was very helpful :) He helped us a lot when we trying to go beach. Also the hotel is so nice and haves cozy rooms. We stayed there like 24 hours. It went great. The beaches in the citt are too good...

it was a pleasant nice stay , clean and nice view, nice breakfast and friendly staff the only drawback is slow internet and slow check-in , otherwise it was a nice place to stay again

I did requested transportation from the airport to the hotel and to the hotel and I was told to get a taxi. On arrival, despite paying for the transportation, driver was not there, and the reception was not aware of my arrival. On leaving, I asked twice for transportation, and again I was told to have a taxi. My flight was at 3am and I had to walk under the rain with my luggage all the way to the reception (500m away) because no one was available and the telephone was out. Terrible experience.

Reception was excellent, with humble staff, green and natural compound, the best gym. the rooms are of high quality, nice massage chairs, and bufets services are excellent. However the beach area is not yet developed

I visited the place for a week and was real cool location to visit for any event, ocean view room was a great hit to my living experience, everything was actually covered excellently. Every is advised to experience the difference at Hotel Verde Zanzibar

The hotel is enormous and seemed beautiful, there were signs (I presume) that had been removed on the entrance facade, and not cleaned up, that immediately made me a little concerned. The hotel seemed beautiful though, if a little lifeless. There is NO ALCOHOL available, which I respect, but it is definitely a negative mark for me. But then when I got home from dinner, had a shower and grabbed a towel, there was an entire termite nest in the towel. Literally hundreds of termites everywhere and all over me. They had clearly not been cleaned or swopped in weeks. It was truly disgusting, and I slept very badly imagining them crawling all over me. I told the reception in the morning and they laughed at it in shock. A manager then came and asked if he could see the photos and inspect the room, I showed him and said sure, I didn't even get so much as an apology. I am in Zanzibar for work often, and will not be back!

The hotel has a great view 💜 and the services are very good. The SPA, Restaurant, Rooms aah everything Not mentioning the health and variety of foods. Would recommend you to visit the hotel and enjoy every tip and places in the hotel

Very nice and attentive staff, always friendly and helpful. We did not stay at the hotel, but came several times to the restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff, always friendly and helpful. The buffet is very rich and beautifully arranged, omelettes, pancakes and waffles are freshly prepared to order. Everything is very delicious. We will come back.
