Lanyang Wushigang Seaview Hotel: Recommended 3-Day, 2-Night Stay in Toucheng, Yilan

This time, I took a short trip to Toucheng and stayed at the Lanyang Wushigang Seaview Hotel. Here are my thoughts on the accommodation. 💞 Reasons for Recommendation: The first impression was great. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The best part was the balcony of the sea view room, offering a direct view of Guishan Island. The hotel facilities include a cold water pool, table tennis, gym, and a children's play area in the basement (along with the parking lot). There's also a rooftop star bar, which is super chill. The hotel's location is very convenient. Just a few steps downstairs, you'll find Starbucks, POYA, 7-Eleven, and McDonald's, making it easy to buy anything you need. As for food, there are two restaurants worth mentioning: 'Leshan Ramen,' which is affordable with a good broth and great value for those with a big appetite; and 'Shengshi Teppanyaki,' which is a high-end option perfect for when you want to treat yourself. Plus, it's a standalone facility, so drivers don't need to worry about parking. 🗓️ Itinerary: From the hotel, you can head right to visit the Lanyang Museum and take a whale-watching boat to Guishan Island, which is about a 15-minute walk away. If you head left, you can explore Toucheng Old Street and the restaurants and snacks near Toucheng Train Station, which are also about a 10-15 minute walk. If you don't feel like walking, you can borrow a free bicycle from the hotel and enjoy a comfortable ride. Yilan Accommodation Recommendation | High CP Value!

I'm back in Yilan to unlock new homestays, haha~ The homestay I'm introducing today is in the Korean minimalist style that I love. A double room is $1880 on weekdays, which means only $940 per person!! On weekends, it's only $1190 per person~ The CP value is super high, highly recommended 🥰 You can even sleep in until noon (12:00) before checking out 💤 I have to share this with everyone 🫶🏻 ⁡ ⌇Location⌇ The homestay is located between Luodong and Sanxing. It's surrounded by fields, so it's generally very quiet. It's about an 8-minute drive to Zhang Mei Amah Farm in Sanxing. It's about a 13-minute drive to Luodong Night Market. It's in a strategically advantageous location 🤔 Not too far from nearby attractions~ ⁡ ⌇Room | Interior⌇ The room type I stayed in this time was the 302 large double room. As soon as I entered the room, I could smell a comfortable fragrance. The room has a balcony where you can see the rice paddies outside. It's a pity that I came in winter. If you come in summer, there should be lush greenery outside the window. It feels very healing! ⁡ I really like the feeling of sunlight streaming into the room from the balcony. Also, I want to mention that the blackout curtains in the room are amazing. You'll sleep until you don't know what time it is, hahaha 😆 ⁡ The TV in the room has YouTube and Netflix. There are sockets next to the bed, which is very convenient. The bathroom has a separate shower and all the necessary toiletries. But you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste!! 🦷🪥 ⁡ ⌇Other | Service⌇ The 1st floor of the homestay is a common area. There's a kitchen counter, microwave, water dispenser, refrigerator, and tableware that you can use. There's also a large sofa and seating area. I personally love this space in the living room. I really want to decorate my own home exactly the same 😻 ⁡ The homestay is entirely self check-in. The owner will provide you with the password on the day of your check-in. There's a second building, Liang Sui, right next to the homestay~ The style is basically the same. If Can Sui is fully booked, you can check out Liang Sui! ⁡ ✔️Parking available, no elevator ✔️Electronic lock self check-in ✔️Check in: 4pm / Check out: 12pm ⁡ Finally, I still have to mention some minor drawbacks. 𓏸There are only bath towels in the bathroom, no face towels or toothbrush cups are provided. Those who are used to using these items should take note! 𓏸The hot water in the shower takes a while to heat up. I could barely feel any hot water at the sink that day 🥲 𓏸There seems to be construction going on outside the homestay recently. The view from the 1st-floor windows isn't as beautiful as it appears online~ What a pity. 𓏸The room isn't as big as I imagined~ Most of the pictures shared online are taken with a wide-angle lens, so there's a bit of a difference. ⁡

Onsen spring in winter! But…

I have enjoyed my stay in Wellspring by Silk in Yilan, Taiwan. However, it is not up to a standard of a luxury stay based on the price that I have paid. The pros are good location and have decent facilities for hotspring, exercise, breakfast and a happy hour at 5pm-630pm. However, there is insufficient space for the happy hour and people has to stand to enjoy. It is also a little underwhelming considering the price paid whereby there is no service to handle our luggages and the outlook seems like a roadside hotel. Thankfully, the room standard is decent. Overall, it is decent but not worth the price I’ve paid.

#wheretogo 斑比山丘里的每一只动物都有挂名噢. 好可爱！ The deers are very tame and very attracted to food. The entrance ticket has one cup of feed(cut vegetables) included. You may purchase more too!! The deers are free to roam around the farm. There are also 2 capybaras and donkey in the farm. I got a deer plushie from the souvenir shop. This place is definitely a family friendly to-go-place. Both kids and adults enjoyed our time here:) #bambiland

a lazy 🦥 like me don't really like to wake up early. just for this trip, you would appreciate being early. i was at yilan station checking super famous comic writer Jimmy's park by 6am, then catch my driver about 6:15. Mr. driver isn't the most perfect speaker, but he is absolutely knowledgeable to let you know once you asked. an amazing view when you are on top of the tai ping mountain. do take the yellow train, and visit the small cafe named as “雲海“ - love the location and the scenic view. you won't regret being early! #太平山 #宜蘭

Stumbled into paradise! Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi

Hey everyone, I recently discovered an amazing vacation spot - Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi. My stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I just have to share it with you! 🚗Super convenient transportation The hotel is located in the Jiaoxi downtown area, just a short distance from the highway. It's surrounded by all sorts of restaurants, shops, and entertainment. You can start exploring within a few minutes' walk from the hotel, which is perfect for lazy people like me. 🛏️Rooms: Comfort and style go hand in hand I booked a cypress wood hot spring room, and as soon as I walked in, I was enveloped by the faint scent of cypress, which was so relaxing. The room was spacious and bright, with simple yet stylish decor. The bedding was so soft, it felt like sleeping on a cloud.🛏 The best part was the private hot spring pool in the room. After soaking in it, all the fatigue of the day melted away. The view outside the window was stunning, and I enjoyed the scenery while taking a bath. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. 🍱A feast for the senses I have to praise the hotel's dining! The breakfast was rich and varied, with a wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly made omelets were fluffy and tender, and each bite was incredibly satisfying. The seafood platter for dinner was incredibly fresh, with a plate full of crab, shrimp, and shellfish. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking methods were excellent, bringing out the natural flavors of the seafood. 💆‍♀️A wide range of leisure facilities There are so many leisure facilities here! The indoor hot spring area has a variety of themed pools, including red wine and milk pools, which left my skin feeling smooth. There's also an open-air hot spring surrounded by greenery, making you feel like you're in a forest sanctuary. The children's play area is well-equipped, keeping the little ones entertained while parents can relax. If you like to exercise, the gym is also fully equipped. The service was also very attentive. From check-in at the front desk to room service, the staff were enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly to any requests. My stay at Volando Urai Spring Spa & Resort - Jiaoxi was truly an unforgettable vacation experience. Guys, just go for it!

Some hikers especially Catholic Religion do hiking into this mountain during Holy Week seasons to do some solemn reflection and at the same time to celebrate together the passion, death, resurrection of Jesus Christ. We started at 8:30am from the Church we reach the trail head around 9:30 to 10:00 am Then we reached the top around 2:30-3pm in the afternoon overall that was a really nice experienced.
