Street artist started to paint them since 1981, some of the pictures obviously faded. After the walk in the old town looking at the murals, you can enjoy a boardwalk walk, eat huge pizzas and make amazing pictures. 2. Ristorante Tarì Address - Piazza de Palma Maggiore, 8/9/10, 87029 Scalea Highlights - Exceptional restaurant in Scalea, great food, amazing staff Rating - 4.0 When in Scalea you must visit this restaurant. It is located in the old town and has wonderful views as well as food. You will sit outside at the small square with the very cozy lights and music. The staff is very nice and the owner is so polite. All in all, Scalea has a lot of interesting attractions to visit. It is a nice Italian town, which is also alive. Scalea in Italy is one of the perfect places to spend time. Scalea has a lot of shops, bars, restaurants and can be rather crowded in August. My favorite months here are June and September! Scalea is a seaside resort, in addition to the long, very long stretch of beach that seems to never end. It has its night life, parties, amazing sights, nearby small cities worth visiting too.
