A Little Darling of the Aso Volcano Group | A Stroll at the Foot of Mt. Yonezaka

Upon arriving at the Aso volcanic group, I was immediately drawn to the charmingly rounded Mt. Yonezuka. Known as "Aso's dimple," its summit's concave lines resemble a gently pressed green mochi. At about 100 meters high, it's a remarkably approachable little mountain. Standing before the grassland, gazing into the distance, the blue sky, white clouds, and gentle mountain shape intertwined—a truly soothing sight ☁️🌿. Although Mt. Yonezuka is currently inaccessible at the summit, a leisurely stroll along the surrounding trails still allows you to experience the gentle atmosphere of the volcanic landscape up close. In autumn and winter, the grass deepens in color, and the slightly cool air makes it perfect for a relaxing walk, taking photos, and unwinding.
