Firstly, the advice from the waiter/main receiver of the guests, for the meals they offer, was greatly appreciated. There is a significant value in the product served by promoting local Italian products.The ambiance very relaxing and the most attractive part of this restaurant is the local products on sale with a vast assortment of wines. The meal together with service allows you to pass a very delightful experience!

The most stunning setting for a meal, watching the sunset and the sea with the piano playing and perfect warm lighting in the restaurant. The service was both efficient and friendly. Gave recommendations for food and wine, all was incredible. Was a really special meal that we&rsquo;re so glad we made a reservation for during our time in Monopoli.

Not only was the sushi creative and delicious, the staff went out of their way to make our evening special. Someone in our family wasn&rsquo;t feeling well and there are no taxis in the area. Without hesitation, the staff offered to drive us home and refused to take any money for it. Truly service and small town kindness at its best. Grazie mille

Really enjoyable dining experience at Metae. Staff very welcoming. Service excellent. The food was exceptional. Really delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter was most helpful and accommodating and really took an interest in helping us make food choices that worked. Exceptional value for such high quality food. We visited with friends and had a wonderful lunch! The portions were well sized and were able to comfortably have appetisers, first and second course. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious! Particularly enjoyed the meatballs, Orecchiette cemi di rapa and the Bombette. The interior was tastefully decorated, modern and clean. The service was attentive and fast (special thanks to our waiter for making us feel welcome and at home). Overall, a great experience that I recommend if you&rsquo;re in the area!

Stunning fresh seafood cooked in various local styles , charming service , I would re this for a special night out or date night . We got x 2 different fish and went with the recommendation of the waiter and we were not disappointed

Very nice-looking restaurant with a pleasant and helpfull service. Portions were un-Italian large which made sure that we couldn&#39;t finish all... but that&#39;s better than complaining about small portions :). Quality of the food was excellent. I&#39;ll be back :)

The food &amp; service were excellent! Our only complaint was that the music was very loud and strange - loud enough to make conversation difficult and odd enough to have the music selection be the topic we were trying to discuss.

CarloQuinto was one of my favorite culinary experiences in Puglia. Gorgeous view of the ocean from your table and the staff is extremely efficient, kind, and hospitable. Every bite is a masterpiece and their Spritz is delicious! I really enjoyed my lunch here and would eat here every day if I could!

The food was good, but we especially liked the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The menu is also available in English. We booked through The Fork with a discount, but also without it you&#39;d definitely get value for your money. We only spent 2 days in Taranto, but otherwise we would definitely have been back.

We had a fantastic meal here and would recommend. &euro;130 for x2 people. x2 starters, x2 mains, x1 dessert and x1 mid-range bottle of wine.Get the Black pork ravioli. Possibly the best pasta to ever pass my fair lips.The pork belly main was a fatty delight with sweet but subtle cranberry and apple sauces. My partner enjoyed her lamb, which is much heralded by fellow journeymen and women, but between you and me, I think I ordered better.The additional solo squished new potato was perhaps (dare I say it) the star of the show. Perfectly seasoned and fluffy. Like a well-travelled cloud. The small quantity required slow, mindful chewing. In my dreams there was a whole plate of them.Also, all the staff looked Hollywood chic in their smart, double breast suit jackets.La cr&egrave;me de la cr&egrave;me. Or should I say, le bubbole de le bubbole.

Truly amazing restaurant. Great way to chose set menus with so many combinations and options. Fantastic service and elegant atmosphere. Each dish was a peace of art. Also very tasteful and well thought though. We will be back for sure!

Very cozy restaurant with french-Italian cuisine. Both service and food were just amazing! French dishes even tastier than in France itself. We were told that the chef finished a cr&ecirc;pe academy in France, and he has got a talent for sure! Please, have a cr&ecirc;pe for a dessert. We went for the one with salted butter and apple and we didn&rsquo;t miss! Thank you❤️

The presentation of the fresh catch pre ordering at the table. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ambience of dining area, framed by massive wood doors with view the piazza. Complementary digestives. Enthusiastic sommelier. Delicious and well presented meals.

Pretty reasonable prices considering its prime location. Catered very well to my son who has multiple food allergies. Service was swift but very friendly. Ordered their appetizer of assorted cold cuts and cheese. I don&rsquo;t like ricotta cheese so they were flexible and gave us 2 burrata cheeses.Definitely book through  The Fork and specify you want outdoor seating with a view. Also recommend booking early in the evening. We came at 7:00, we were the only people there but it got busy and full really fast.

A small restaurant in the centre of town. From the very start we felt welcomed by all the staff. Courteous friendly and helpful. The selection on the menu was varied and all appealed. When we indicated that we intended sharing certain dishes it was no problem.  The ingredients are of high quality and all freshly cooked. This is Italian regional cooking at its best. Portions are generous without being excessive. Highlights were an appetiser based on asparagus with a yellow tomato sauce, delicious, thank heavens for bread to wipe the plate clean and not waste anything. The pasta with prawns and asparagus also excellent and would order again. . We shared a main based on sucking pig also excellent and perfectly cooked. Sadly too full for desert. We will probably return again even though only staying in the area for 4 nights. Thank you for an excellent enjoyable meal in your delightful restaurant.

The food at La Dispensa do Aquatio was absolutely incredible. Dino took care of us all evening long and was a great host. We shared between two people two appetizers, on pasta, and one meat. There was a reasonable amount of food served for each plate so we were content between those four things. The restaurant is inside a cave and attached to a hotel and spa. La dispensa di aquatio should not be missed!
