TheForkUserLovely airy and light restaurant with fabulous views over the beach out to sea, don’t be put off my going up into the building as when you get to the restaurant the staff and food are lovely, two set 3 course meals and quite a lot of choice a la cart. Staff were very attentive and spoke very good English if needed. Would highly recommend
TheForkUserGood food and friendly people that made us welcome what else do you need!Enjoyed our meal and pleased we found somewhere close to our overnight stop in this quite little village.
TheForkUserIt’s a small authentic Italian restaurant in Le Pollet area of Dieppe. Dishes were tasty and homemade by an Italian chef. Would have been good to have salad with our meals too We had a lovely evening with our group of 8 friends. Merci
TheForkUserWe arrived early for our booking and were immediately greeted and assisted to find a table (were given an option of seat). Our drinks choices were taken and menu offered immediately. We were given time to choose and the staff were very reactive to our needs. Once our order was taken very soon the table was arranged (as we ordered a seafood platter) Another table was pulled alongside to put this on. We were given the necessary tools for the crab and lobster and a couple of hand wipes each plus bowl for scraps to go on. The seafood was all fresh and well cooked apart from the oysters that were supposed to be raw. Additional bread was quickly available. We both tried local cider which was delicious and drinks were not pushed as we were driving. We tried the mini dessert collection a variety of hot n cold. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return. Recommended. Free parking by the beach 5-10 mins walk.
TheForkUserThe service is poor: they took 30 minutes to take our order (they didn’t even ask for drinks). They then took another 30 minutes to bring the starter ( it was just a plate of cheese)Quality of the food is poor, the entrecote and the lamb ribs were tough . The Price is very high for the quality of the food. Moreover,: they just speak French and don’t try to speak English with tourists, making it very hard to communicate and to understand the server when ordering
TheForkUserThe food was disappointing . No fish dishes available. Nothing freshly prepared.
TheForkUser23€for 9 pièces of oysters that are almost empty , I can’t imagine why they could still serve and sell .
TheForkUserThe location is good. The starter was ordinary, the main course and dessert were good. The service was discret and not overtly friendly.
TheForkUserWe where really impressed. After booking the restaurant then seeing the reviews we where worried, but the staff where lovely and welcoming. The service was quick, the food hot and tasty. We would visit again
_TI***guThis place is a must-visit for cheese lovers! The selection is impressive, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. I appreciated the attention to detail, especially regarding dietary restrictions.
TheForkUserGreat little place to stop and have a lovely meal before boarding the ferry back to Newhaven. Fast and efficient service from a very friendly server, food was excellent - we especially liked the cheese naan - a first for us! Would definitely return - thank you!
TheForkUserGreat lambstew (another one than was mentioned on the menu). And a great Entrecôte with Roquefort sauce.
TheForkUserVery stylish dining room with a charming outdoor terrace. Service was both friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, well seasoned with a well-balanced choice of dishes. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserLovely people cooking and serving lovely local food. The restaurant is true to its name.
TheForkUserVery lovely little restaurant and lunch. Will return. Nice atmosphere and service. Lots of options to choose from. Easy to find on the high street.
TheForkUserWe stopped off in Dieppe for lunch on the way back to Calais from Normandy and picked Le Palmier based on the positive reviews - they are all true - not fancy but a warm and cheerful restaurant with lovely good value food and excellent friendly service - we had 3 tagines (vegetarian. Marakesh (meatballs, peas & egg) and Chicken and Prunes and Almonds) and one Coscous Royal (Coscous with a side plate of mixed grilled meat) - all were great - portion sizes are generous too - one tagine, a salad and fries would feed 2 for lunch - special mention for the lovely waitress who served us - strongly recommended
TheForkUser3rd trip to Normandie this year and 3rd visit to Les Airelles.Another excellent vegetarian meal as always, using the best and tasty ingredients together with great staff. Hope to be back soon.
TheForkUserThe food was tasty and the service impeccable ????
