TheForkUserFood was good and nicely presented. Service was fast and attentive at least in the early night. They handled well all the orders, even if we were a big group of 16 people.Minus points for not being able to share the bill for more than 2 credit cards (we were 12 households from 8 different countries, so we had to do the money laundering after, that should be part of the restaurant’s good service)
TheForkUserFood was great.
_TI***qmI was impressed by the quality of the food and the friendly service. The nachos and burgers were particularly fantastic!
TheForkUserWe were so impressed by this little restaurant! We could not have done better finding a place for lunch! The service was one of the best we had during our trip! Not only the waitress was nice, informative and professional, the cook came out to see if we were satisfied with the food. We wanted a paella and we had a “superb” paella! Not only that, it was included in the menu of the day! We had an appetizers, a started, the paella, bread with alioli, and… a tray with four different kind of desserts! 39.00 euros por two people. What a deal!
TheForkUserThis is a rather splendid place to have a meal, and the meal was splendid. The rooms are in the 16th century students hostel with great oak beams, chandeliers and a massive fireplace. It has such charm. The staff were bilingual (probably multi-lingual) and pleasantly attentive. The dishes are well presented and delicious. The portions are more than ample so go hungry. One of the best.
TheForkUserWe had a great time! The house nachos were amazing, way better than expected and the waitress went above and beyond for our group. Despite being the only staff serving tables and working the bar, she had our food and drinks super fast and was attentive and just a total professional. Our only complaint is the burritos were on the small side and not nearly as full as normal Mexican burritos should be. My advice would be to skip the burritos altogether cuz everything else, quesadillas etc was a good amount and tasted incredible! Definitely will return!
TheForkUserGreat! Few selections and quality was fine. Salad selections were good! It can be better.
TheForkUserNo doubt it has one of the best tuna tataki in Madrid. Everything from the menu is well prepared and nicely served.
TheForkUserThe staff was very welcoming even though we were 30 minutes early. They were looking after us beautifully. My partner isna coeliac and they were able to help him choose the right dishes. The food was deliciousm and well presented. We both had the Pumpkin soup and it was very tasty. The cod cooked perfectly.
TheForkUserVery good an several options.. food presented very well. Tasting very nice. Only issue we had was internet was not working and we could not access the online menu.
TheForkUserWe had a very pleasant time, service was great and we enjoyed our dinner. The food was good and the offer made it worth it.
_TI***1hThe rice with meat was incredible, and the cannelloni was delicious. The friendly service made the experience even better.
TheForkUserThere was a very good service. The food was very tasty.
TheForkUserThe tasting menu was superb. The gazpacho blanco was the best I've ever tasted. The charcoaled iberico pork was wonderful and the fake egg desert was both funny and delicious. The only duff note was the bread. Dire
TheForkUserTodo genial, repetiremos
_TI***dmThis restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a beautiful interior patio. The attentive service from José, the owner, made our experience even better. The duck à l'orange was particularly noteworthy!
TheForkUserFabulous "Cocido Madrileño", the typical dish from the Spanish Capital. Absolutely recommendable! Just be careful to reserve in the correct restaurant, because there are two side by side in the same building, and only one of them serves this delicacy! Menu with beer and wine, desert and coffee included. Enjoy! ????
TheForkUserPretty average. It was fine but the food didn’t feel like the greatest quality. It’s decent but there are better Indian restaurants in Madrid
TheForkUserAlways a good spot to have a Spanish meal in Alcalà's casco historico; very nice selection o meat/fish/veg options from starters to desserts; professional service as usual and prices on the average of the center
TheForkUserGreat food. onion bhaji and lamb madras was delicious.
